Experimental new build with December 05th, 2021 security patches available

This build is to be considered alpha as it is lacking two patches from July as can be read on Gerrit. The patches from August have been merged, September through December have also been included, but no updated patch level. It still reports June 5th, 2021, as it is lacking the two patches from July from the "not implemented" section. There seems to be no progress in backporting these patches :-(

I've got it installed and running on my own device for one day now.

As always, these builds don't contain any patches to closed source drivers, as those would have to be supplied by Lenovo. Who have long since stopped supporting this device.

Builds prior to August 29th, 2021 have been deleted from my dropbox to mitigate space constraints.

Use at your own risk!

Regards
Ektus.

Experimental new build with January 05th, 2022 security patch available

(URL deleted, no longer valid per 2022-01-22)

Same as above, but with one additional patch from https://review.lineageos.org/q/topic:%22n-asb-2022-01%22+(status:eek:pen+OR+status:merged)

There has been only one patch yet, I've been waiting with publishing in order to see if there would arrive some more. Doesn't seem like it. Supporting Nougat further is becoming difficult :-(

Builds prior to October 8th, 2021 have been deleted from my dropbox to mitigate space constraints.

Use at your own risk!

Can you build version with integrated microG ?

I am struggling to integrate it by hands. It will be so nice to have it.

you can try and do it yourself. you will need to do a fresh install of the ROM without gapps but with magisk installed.

patch your ROM to enable signature spoofing and then install minmicrog
Unfortunately I run from Kharkiv from bombing few weeks ago.
PC left behind, and now I get treatment in psychiatric hospital...
And other health issues. And lots of other issues in financial and general fields...
So it is not an option for me now.

I afraid to do something with phone, but have issues with some necessary apps from play store.

Anyway, I flashed miniMicroG today and location start to work as well as some apps. But it still somehow broken, because I don't see microG applications in launcher. And maps api does not work.

I also have pretty old build...

P.S.
Just read your reply more careful.
Perhaps I will be able to do as you suggest. Sorry for incoherent rambling.

Thanks. That's the main reason for my building these: Extend the lifetime of my own phone :)
There are some more patches pending (backports for several recent months), but I'll be building only after the April patches are out (if any).
Yeah.. there will be more updates. but i have cracked my third screen (i know i know...) and during the fix i hat issues with the "doughter board" where the usb is located. so i had to solder the vibro back on to the doughterboard.
so i decided to "outphase" my mighty device and only use my motorola moto g5 only as a offline navigation system (osmand)
and i think the device is "save" from now on, because it will never see a data connection anymore...

I built this ROM with signature spoofing support (patches from microG project) and security patches up to 2022-04 included.

Build lineage-14.1-20220430-UNOFFICIAL-cedric-signed.zip

- Signature spoofing support (microG support).
- Android Security Patch: April, 2022.
(Settings reports June 2021 security patch as Nougat isn't supported anymore by AOSP, but LineageOS still backports patches from newer Android versions).
Signed with my own keys, clean flash mandatory.

Nougat firmware needed as base.

Known bugs:
None? (shortly tested by me).

For more information see the README.txt

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 7 (nougat), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review.
