[7/19][Root/FlashFire] Cocktail AutoOn Mod for Galaxy S6 Edge

So, i patch services.jar from BOGG firmware Deodex XtrestoLite.

After install CoctailAutoOn, set permision granted for notify in menu/administration. If you want use this mod for sms/mms notify, then you must edit data sms for no screen wakeup wen receive sms/mms.
If your screen wake up when phone receive sms then go to /data/data/com.android.mms/shared_prefs/ once in that folder, open up com.android.mms_preferences.xml
scroll down and find boolean name="pref_key_backlight" value="true" and change true to false. Save file.

If phone no wake up when receive sms then copy uploaded from me services.jar to /system/framework, set permision 755 and reboot phone.

This worked!

I had already modded my messaging app, so that wasn't the problem. I tried changing the permissions on my services.jar and rebooted, but it was still only showing the clock. But I downloaded your services.jar, set the permissions and rebooted, and now it's working! Thanks for the help.

i confirm, replacing the srvices jar fixes the issue for me when it stayed on the clock not switching to notification :good:

Hi mate how did you get it to work as I've tried all I can but no joy. Using deodexed rom and OP install instructions.

i downloaded the play store version and it worked out of the box well except it stayed on the clock. Oh and im on "XtreStoLite Deo-Mod Edition 2.2" if that helps and dont forget to alow the mod to read notifications.

I too downloaded the play version and was on Xtrestolite but no joy, not even the clock. Can you give me your exact walkthrough please as I would love to get this working and have had no joy whatsoever.

It installs from Playstore then when I click on install from inside the app it does it's thing but doesn't install anything and install button is still highlighted. I don't think I'm meant to use this.

Not sure how the mod works but since u have to alow it to read the notifications I guess they need to be on.

I can get it working for email but not for messages. Can you give me your message settings please? Are you using stock messaging?

EDIT: Got it working using SMS Popup to replace stock messaging app. Thanks for your help. Purchased full app.
