8.0 or 8.1?

Just wondering what everyone's personal preference is do you think 8.0 or 8.1 beta is better to run right now? I am currently running 8.1 with root and twrp but considering flashing 8.0 back so I can have viper for android sound mod again. My battery life on 8.1 is insane though so I'm in a bit of a toss up right now.

I have been running 8.1 since it came out. I manually flashed it via ADB. No issues or hang ups.

for me the only drawback was auto brightness issue on 8.1. Other than that 8.1 is really good for me!!

Battery for me was horrible on 8.0, but it could have just been radio related. Running 8.1 and it's fantastic, so I've stuck with it

Any of you able to install Arise4Android or MagnumOpus on 8.1?
I have MagnumOpus and Dolby Digital running on 8.0.

Hearing all this talk about great battery life on 8.1 dev preview is making want to try it out. I'm not a part of the beta program. How do I get my hands on the 8.1 preview?

Download the image and flash it manually that's what I did, if you wanna dirty flash it just remove -w from the bat file. (if you didn't know). The battery life on 8.1 is insane it's well worth it. My only downside like I said is not having Viper4Android I love that app for my car audio.
