Keep in mind that @TheImpulson manages the Lineage OS rom for our devices. Lineage is one of the base rom that ASOPEXT is built from with other goodies. As soon as the foundations of the Lineage build is firm and stable, he'll be able to improve and release an update for this rom.
yes i know, nougat is very much acceptable at this time.
i have been using nougat for around 2 years now, however for this device, i am not much convenienced for battery life, be it any rom

Isn't it rather like that: once in a while you want to install a new ROM. You look around for a while, check what is being maintained and more importantly what is there already, install what makes sense then. Asking for ETA (your question is nothing else) does not change anything but annoys people (like me). Then some other idiot (that's me in that case) has to come along and tell you that you are not supposed to ask for eta.

well ... we could discuss about that but I see no big difference. For me the "don't ask for eta" policy is based on the fact that all programmers here are unpaid volunteers and therefore do not want to be asked for something they can be held accountable to. What you do is put pressure on the developer - no matter you ask when or if ...
This Project is now dead. I am not going to support it anymore as I don't have much time. FireKernel is also dead with it. Thank you!
24 july build link is not working. it is taking to aex site but device is not available, even by its codename
I guess AEX Z00L proj also coming to an end..as suggested by dev @TheImpulson(in lineages 15.1 thread) he won't be able continue further due to his future study load ,so we could assume the same fate for AEX unless anyone takes his role going forward.
