Installed oc1 modem tar via odin then updated to oc2 firmware via safestrap successfully, thanks. I then installed the new sd fix patch and getting this error when I open quickpik > "not an error (code 0) could not open the database in read/write mode"

EDIT: Also app like Viber still can't load photos. I think it has something to do with that read/write mode error above.
your base band shows OC2 and where can i get quikpik and Viber playstore? so I can test on my end QuickPik is a gallery app and Viber a messaging app

Edit Quick pik works, eve took a picture and played a video

Yeah both from playstore. Quickpic works but I get the error first time I open it. Viber also works. You just can't load or see photos posted.

EDIT: Went ahead and remove/reinstall Quickpic and now I get this error "unknown error (code 14): Could not open database". Not to worried about quickpic, I rather have photos showing on social media apps :)

Also here is ODIN OC1 firmware you can download and keep handy, install with Odin, when you come from NC2 to OC2
then you can install the recovery flashable OC2 firmware, you see the OC2 recovery installer is like OTA, it patches the OC1 firmware so if your firmware is NC2 then it will not do patch , I need to upload the NON patching OC1 firmware because it is whole files and not patches

N900A_N900AUCUEOC1_FIRMWARE.tar.md5.zip 48.8 MB

Thanks for that. I was wondering why the firmware flashable for OC2 would say that it couldn't do modem.bin or NON-HLOS.bin. After applying the OC1 modem flashable it would still say it couldn't patch NON-HLOS.bin. Applying the firmware with Odin then applying the patch in SafeStrap fixed that right up. Wouldn't want to walk around with an updated 3G firmware but an out of date LTE firmware.

Also after much work and wearing of my flash and NAND, I got the ROM to work fine with Xposed and no force-closes in Samsung apps. I did both the ROM and Xposed flashable in the same instance, rather than letting the phone setup, then installing Xposed. It should work with the SafeStrap menu mod also. I'm thinking it should go in this order: ROM -> SafeStrap menu mod -> Xposed flashable, in order of flashing, with no reboots in between.

Double edit: Also I frequently get problems where it'll be booting, then it'll say that the system is not responding, with the standard popup, and a black background. I can click "wait" or "ok" and it'll receive my touch, then it'll soft reboot ~10 seconds later if I click OK. So far it isn't as annoying as the "getAudioPolicyConfig" logcat spam that I was having on OC1, which wouldn't allow me to boot with anything plugged into the USB port.

Triple edit: Also I suggest everyone install Liveboot, so you can see what is holding up your boot process or if any errors are happening. You might see some nasty warnings or errors relating to Xposed, but those should pass as that's what allow Xposed to work on our phones.

+1 on this. Experienced it but mine didn't fix itself, I had to reinstall every time.

I had this really weird issue that just happened to me right now. I wanted to clear my dalvik cache because it was starting to get large and wanted to do it anyway, so I selected the "boot to recovery" option (I have Wanam 4-way reboot menu enabled, no SafeStrap menu mod) so I can carry out the clearing there. It reboots to the recovery except immediately it says "UDC" or something then "failure" at the top and I get a warning that unauthorized software is on the phone and I have to bring it to an AT&T store. Pressing the power button just shuts the screen off at this. Rebooting just brings me back to the recovery with the same warning. Pulling the battery does the same thing. I was still able to get into download mode and I flashed the OC1 firmware with Odin and now my phone is fine. I don't know exactly what happened, but I'm going install the OC2 firmware again and try manually getting into the stock recovery to see if it happens again. It might be related to the "fake device status" in Wanam but I don't know, I'll need to test.
