Hello everyone,

This thread is made for easy accessibility to the collection of download links of various MIUI global stable versions of Redmi Note 3 pro (kenzo). I'll post links from 7.3.7.0 onwards due to obvious reasons.

You can help to add the missing links by sending me the name of incremental OTA zip file in downloaded_rom folder of your device.

For example: miui-blockota-kenzo_global-V8.5.1.0.MHOMIED-V8.5.2.0.MHOMIED-dcf3bb151c-6.0.zip

This will also allow us to get more update paths as you can see in 8.2.3.0














I'll try to keep this thread updated with the new links whenever possible.

How to flash recovery ROMs ? I'm using cofface twrp recovery.

Do I need to flash lazy flasher ?

And can I dirty flash this rom over official 8.0.5.0

You can flash recovery ROMs directly in recovery. It'll overwrite the system partition with a new image. Data partition remains as such.

I'm unlocked officially and rooted with xposed installed. Not custom kernel or rom. I read on miui forum tht installing mm causes bootloop. How can I ensure it doesn't. If i flash this over LP stable, do I need to factory reset and will it erase my exposed?

U need to flash fastboot ROM MM before, if u were on LP. If not bootloop will catch u.
@OP, has u flash MM based ROM over LP ? I ever try it, need to flash fastboot rom first before change between different Android version. Other words we CAN'T cross flash from LP to MM without flash ing fastboot ROM.

I have flashed 8.1.1.0 (MM) full recovery ROM over 8.0.6.0 (LP) without any problem. But if you flash a LP based MIUI over MM based you might get some issues (SIM detection, network based, etc.).

I just got this phone. Came with 7.1.8.0 Global which i believe is LP. Can i install 8.1.4.0 Global over the top with the built in Updater app?
Happy to wipe as it is new with nothing on it.
Just dont want to be caught with a boot loop :(

I'm not pretty sure if it's possible but updating to another Android version it's better to do a clean install.

So what if Im on a custom rom? Idk what to download and procedure to flash! Someone please differentiate between these roms(fastboot rom, recovery, global stable and global developer)what do they even mean?

If you are on a custom ROM, you need to either flash full recovery ROM via recovery or you can use fastboot ROM via miflash tool. The latter will wipe your internal storage too.

Full recovery ROM contains system image along with firmware files. If you want to be on your current recovery instead of mi recovery, flash full recovery ROM.

Fastboot ROM contains every partition the device has, including those in full recovery ROM. If you want clean MIUI setup with locked bootloader and stock recovery, use this. It'll also wipe your internal storage.

Global stable is what this thread contains the link of. It's the ROM your comes shipped with (stock MIUI ROM). It usually gets updated once in a month or lesser and is considered stable for public use according to MIUI.

Global beta is released with a new build every week. It contains all the recent changes in development. It's up to you whether you want to use global beta or global stable. Both are officiall MIUI ROMs. If I remember remember correctly switching between beta and stable wipes internal storage.

It was pushed randomly for testing. According to the official MIUI forum, you should get it within a week in updater app.

Changelog only says • improved system stability.
It hasn't solved any bugs I faced in 8.1.1.0
