All junks will be remove for the lite rom. And eventually comes w/ a super full rom w/ Chinese support. It may contains lots of software you may not need. Just take the lite rom, OR remove the shortcut and pretend they are not there for the full rom

Some removed apps (MMS, Dialer, Opera, panels ...etc) and lots of useful software are included in the UC SDconfig package below.

Lite Extreme (Free storage/Ram 414mb / 164mb): Sole purpose is boot fast (35sec) and use other OS (e.g. Android). Not intended to work proper as Windows Mobile

Lite Rom (Free Storage/Ram: 385mb / 164mb)
stuff removed:

1. Unnecessary services: (Error reporting, SQM, Logger, Catalog...etc)
2. Unnecessary WM program for me: (One note, Powerpoint, Acrosoft MMS, Welcome Center, Windows update, etc)
3. Help files html, demo movie, mp3, and most ringtones
4. HTC Task Manager (I prefer QuickMenu or Pocket Plus more)
5. All the cabs in the startup UC customization (will be provided as separate install)
6. Panel (cabs provided as separate install in UC package)
7. Camera shutter sound (cab to revert it back)
8. Skinned Dialer (** Cab for X1 original dialer here **)

Basic (Previous Medium without Manila.)
Lite plus the following:

1. Ramdisk for IE and Opera
2. RMVB support
3. TMC driver for iGo8
4. MS Windows Live, MarketPlace
5. Extra HTC stuffs (2G Dialer (cabs to convert to 3G dialer include in UC package), Volume, Album, Wifi Internet Sharing, Youtube ...etc)

Medium (Basic with Manila 2.5 Landscape)

Full (Medium + lots of tools and trialwares)
** Don't ask for S/N. Complaints of having/missing this & that software will be ignore as well **

Full ML (World Wide English with CHT/CHS/JPN support)

1. Handwritten of HTC EzInput not working. Please use included 蒙恬

Installation

Installation (**UC start automatically in first boot**):

1. Install HardSPL
2. Use RUU tools or Micro-SD method written by me
3. Optional: Download my UC package, extract that to the root on yr SD card (can be the same card for flashing yr X1)
4. Optional: Rename sdconfig.txt.sample to sdconfig.txt. Review the UC content and sdconfig.txt. And put the SD in yr device in first boot. (Tips to re-run UC after the 1st time)
5. Convert 2G to 3G video dialer: Install HTC_2G_to_3G_dialer.cab and HTC_3G_Video_Call.cab in the UC package.

Some cabs and extra files you may need.

1. UC package template w/ arcsoft MMS, removed panels, games, Opera (tweaked to use ramdisk) ...etc. (Please review sdconfig.txt before proceed)
2. HGPS Switch if you use TMC driver with your GPS software
3. UC ROM SDConfig.txt Builder. Highly recommend tools for UC process.
4. HTC task manager. Install and soft-reset
5. Other SIP for CE star (For ML version): Japanese (extract to /Windows), Zhuyin注音 ,ChangJei, pinyin
6. FlashLite 3.1 for Opera is builtin but some videos in youtube require flash9 support which could only play w/ flashplayer7, choppy but works)
7. 6Fg8 Power Radio (For FM radio playing)
8. Removed Pocket Powerpoint

How to use my SDConfig package (learn UC here):

1. Extract the zip file to the root of yr micro-SD card and you 
should have a directory structure w/ SDConfig.txt under "\Storage card":

2. Myinfo.xml is for personal information Name,

after hard-reset.  And put the needed files in corresponding folders.
 
4. My supplied SDConfig.txt example will: 
    a. add back the Xpanel w/ panels apps I want 
    b. install Google map, opera ...etc
    c. Copy/move shortcut for start menu
    d. Copy the license file [U][B](NOT INCLUDED)[/B][/U] for Resco Apps  
       (Explorer, picture viewer ..etc), Core player, Gamin Mobile

Default Tweak, Bugs and workaround:

Common:

1. IGO8 may not detect rom's device type and crash. put the following in sys.txt:
   [device]
   type="ALIAS_XPERIA"
2. HTC Youtube may not work for Cingular user: (Cingular user must delete the "wireless.cingular.com:80" from the following to work: HKLM\Comm\ConnMgr\Providers\{EF097F4C-DC4B-4c98-8FF6-AEF805DC0E8E}\HTTP-{436eF144-B4FB-4863-A041-8F905A62C572}\Proxy)
3. Some phone carrier may provide incorrect time info. Turn off time sync if you encounter time issue.

Lite:

1. None

Basic:

1. None

Medium:

1. Same as Basic
2. Not actually a bug. Manila music not support AVRCP by default. My patch add AVRCP support but playlist will be lost after reset. If you need playlist working rather than AVRCP, extract this to /Windows with Resco Explorer

Full:

1. Same as Medium

Tweaks:

1. For all WM rom, SIP change may become slow after lots of software installed. Here is the solution that works by re-import the CLSID in registry. (Backup first!!!)
2. Ramdisk Size:
   [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\BuiltIn\RamDisk]
   "Size"=16
3. Config Opera to use ramdisk, modify opera.ini:

   [User Prefs]
   Cache Directory4=\ramdisk\
   
   [Disk Cache]
   Size=14000

4. For people have free memory concern, care only for how many % free ram, and willing to run the X1 slower. You can save 20mb of ram by removing:

   HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HTC\BootLauncher\Apps\PreLoadRes\Module="\\Windows\\PreLoadRes.exe"
   HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HTC\BootLauncher\Services\ResProxy
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HTC\ResProxy

5. AGPS setting is imported from AT&T Pure, and tested to be working (not sure for other carrier and region). If you have a wireless data plan and want to enable it, set 1 to HKLM\Software\HTC\SUPL AGPS\EnableAGPS. Note: it will start data connection automatically everytime you use GPS!!!
6. Sliding keyboard to wake up the device

4. Add back USSD since a few selected people use it. (I personally disable it by UC)
5. Add back Widget system. To install 6.5 widgets, simply click on the *.widget files in my new UC package.

There was a person on youtube replied me back. He said Xperia x1 and x2 will be supported Wm7.. and i was like you must be mistaken. WM7 requires higher specs and xperia is gonna be = wm7? does anyone knows if this is true? He even said it's on official SE website and i went there, i couldn't find any. Just to clarify, it's going to be WM6.5.1 (21889) with Manila 2.5 (non landscape, having a hard time to get the landscape version working correctly. But is working on that).

None of X2 will be integrate (except some drivers) since all X2 stuff I see so far are either ugly, buggy, or useless. But of course, you are free to use the package on my rom.

Roms are ready but take me some time to upload and finish up the SDconfig (UC) package. (UC are automatic again in the first boot for all versions).
