80% charge threshold broke Rooted US s8 SnapDragon

Now i have to charge to 80% and test my total therory. Thank you so much mate. This is gonna gain a lot of SOT in in any rooted snapdragon US samaung

Nice! I had to change the behavior of the module, as it was built do to the opposite of what you wanted.
What's your next step?
Ahh ****. I can get 94 95 %. And the device starts floating. It bassicly trips another safety and stops charging. Or at least thats what it looks like.
At least its a bit safer than expected. And less worries

I almost got 100%

So after many days and charges now just playing around testing a bit more. Each time i do this there most definitely is another safety system in play. Charging tapers off really quick in mid to upper 90s once actual capacity is reached. Which is good news. A safety limmit is in play and no Note 7 fiascos ???

That being said. Ive got a near full charge now under my belt, Weighing in a 99%

open root explorer
copy battery_capacity_max to /system/ and 0 in file
after copy battery_capacity_max to /sys/class/power_supply/battery/ error but works
wait five seconds for 0%
just an idea for next reboot if need

You don't have to copy it any where. No need to. It is undone but reboots. It does take a few seconds for the 0 out to be applied yes.
I still want to see a 100% .
I don't even reboot any more when i do it. Once it quits charging at or near 98% it revertd back to near 1000. My stock value is 988

There is no root on pie and any s8 or +. But if you look in the plus threads there is a safestrap method rev 5 bootloader that you can after proceed to install root for nougat
