8773 - Not receiving facebook messages with message hub

Same here. Tried setting up with facebook email, but didnt work. Yesterday gizmodo announced that Facebook would fix the facebook's email errors. Maybe this was the cause?

(And why so many brazilians suddenly?)

Didnt catch it. How is that related with Facebook message's problem?

I hope this helps:

1) It isn't just facebook messaging issue.
2) It's not related to force update.


I went on stock 7720. Updated to 7740. Then 8107. Then 8112. Then 8773.

All normal Zune updates. No forcing.

I don't have facebook integrated. I don't use it. However I tried WLM. I am constantly offline to everyone on the friends list and so are they to me. However, when I log into laptop version, I see everyone, they see me, we can talk.

This persists on 8112 and 8773. Nothing to do with integrating facebook or not AND force updating or taking the official update.

HTC Titan Euro version is my phone. So probably unrelated to OEM. Most likely something that messed up messaging hub lies in 8112 and 8773.

1. Remove your Facebook account from your WP
2. Cancel the connection between your Windows Live and Facebook accounts
3. Remove Microsoft of your Facebook account and every data related
4. Reconnect you Windows Live with Facebook
5. Reconnect your WP with your Facebook with your new @facebook.com email

This worked for me perfectly - thank you.

hey guys,

i have a questions for those who are trying different things to fix this message hub thing. is it related to the network strength? it's strange how it's working with some and not for others so probably there's something wrong with the way we're doing the settings.
i hope this can be fixed soon.

No, its not related to network strength. I have full wifi and still having problems. It has been one week since the problem began and no word from MS/FB until now. That is frustrating.

Worse, first it will not be updated. Now it doesnt even work with Facebook. Shoot me. Or even better, shoot WP team.

I really assume this was a backend issue. I was running 8773 fine for months and only had this bug once last week (2 messages from my sister containing URLs didn't come through), but other than that it worked perfectly fine.

My App Hub sometimes show me the messages, and sometimes I get the messages notifications too late, 20 or 30 minutes later
