Wouldnt expect you here but can confirm 100% working in the Xperia X tooWorking great so far on Xperia X. I can use Magisk among with various tweaks without problems.
However, is it possible to bring over Expandable volume panel from RR/LOS/Omni? It would be cool to see this feature brought back.
Thanks in advance.
THX Bro! Finale pixel dust CAF!First of all thanks to everyone who used this GSI. I am really happy to see such a huge user base for my first ever GSI build. Since it's a GSI fixing all device related bugs isn't easy but I tried my best to give you all a nice experience of PixelDust.
As you all know the GSI hasn't been updated in a while. The reason being my personal and professional life wasn't allowing me enough time.
One more announcement I would like to make is that the rom source has shifted from aosp base to CAF base. The aosp updates will be stopped in near future so I doubt I may not be able to update the AOSP GSI further.
But as I will get time I will try to give a CAF based qssi for devices. I am so excited to experience building another variant. Also let me assure you all once Q releases, you will be having an update here asap. Thanks again for your love and support and keeping me motivated.
It will get with Android Q update tho
Assuming you have extracted the system.img.xz file...
Put that on the storage of your phone also make sure you put magisk and twrp.zip installer there too.
Once you are ready following the ROM installation for your phone which I believe is always install OOS on both slots first, then reboot into your bootloader.
Once there what I did was use fastboot boot TWRP.img file then once the phone booted TWRP I continued to
1st go to "Wipe" just factory reset.
Then go to "Install" at the bottom press install image click on your image (the file you got from system.img.xz file) now select system which is where you want to install it. Once that finishes, at the bottom select install zip file install TWRP - magisk - Reboot system.
Mine didn't boot the first time so if it doesn't try going back into TWRP and just "Wipe" Format.
Then you should get it to boot.
As for the ROM it seems to work very well except for some bugs I mentioned on the video I made.
Fingerprint reader not working, front camera doesn't pop out only with auto face unlock but then it stays out, SMS outgoing but not incoming, other than that this ROM is pretty good.
Well I hope this helps you boot it up on your 6T.
