First of all thanks to everyone who used this GSI. I am really happy to see such a huge user base for my first ever GSI build. Since it's a GSI fixing all device related bugs isn't easy but I tried my best to give you all a nice experience of PixelDust.
As you all know the GSI hasn't been updated in a while. The reason being my personal and professional life wasn't allowing me enough time.
One more announcement I would like to make is that the rom source has shifted from aosp base to CAF base. The aosp updates will be stopped in near future so I doubt I may not be able to update the AOSP GSI further.
But as I will get time I will try to give a CAF based qssi for devices. I am so excited to experience building another variant. Also let me assure you all once Q releases, you will be having an update here asap. Thanks again for your love and support and keeping me motivated.:)

Yeah I checked that out. Can you please make an installation video? I'm on 6T but assuming the steps won't be that different. Or you could just tell me what you did.

Assuming you have extracted the system.img.xz file...
Put that on the storage of your phone also make sure you put magisk and twrp.zip installer there too.

Once you are ready following the ROM installation for your phone which I believe is always install OOS on both slots first, then reboot into your bootloader.

Once there what I did was use fastboot boot TWRP.img file then once the phone booted TWRP I continued to
1st go to "Wipe" just factory reset.
Then go to "Install" at the bottom press install image click on your image (the file you got from system.img.xz file) now select system which is where you want to install it. Once that finishes, at the bottom select install zip file install TWRP - magisk - Reboot system.
Mine didn't boot the first time so if it doesn't try going back into TWRP and just "Wipe" Format.
Then you should get it to boot.

As for the ROM it seems to work very well except for some bugs I mentioned on the video I made.
Fingerprint reader not working, front camera doesn't pop out only with auto face unlock but then it stays out, SMS outgoing but not incoming, other than that this ROM is pretty good.

Well I hope this helps you boot it up on your 6T.

You so flashed it via TWRP. Well that makes sense. I was trying to flash via Fastboot. And I'll give it a go. This and Descendant are the only Two GSI I wanna try.

Love the ROM so far and only 2 issues I've been able to find having it flashed to my Moto G7. 1: SMS/MMS incoming well.. isn't incoming.. i can send message out just not receive them. 2: Bluetooth audio doesn't work and causes systemui to restart. connecting to a device (in my case a bookshelf stereo system with bluetooth) doesn't cause issues but once I go into spotify to play music there will be no audio output. furthermore if I linger inside spotify's now playing it will black screen then to home and disconnects me from the device. If i am in the settings for spotify or browsing a playlist however it does not crash. only while watching the now playing. On netflix and youtube it does not crash the system however it does make the device lag horribly until hitting the home button to get the app off screen. I'm sure both issues have been mentioned before on this ROM but idk about for the Moto G7.

It is a very nice ROM and I do enjoy using it. Thank you for the work.

Edit: Forgot to mention when using the pixelbust browser if you click a hyperlinked picture it has a tendency to open the picture to full size and not use the hyperlink. it's a little odd.

Pixel Dust ROM is an Android 9.x ROM especially built with Google Pixel features and apps.
The code is based off directly from AOSP. We strive to keep the Pixel Dust Experience as close as possible to Android as Google intended. We add a decent selection of the coolest custom ROM features that would've been missed if they hadn't been included. Thanks to all development teams, e.g. ABC ROM, AICP, AOKP, AOSPA, BenzoROM, CarbonROM, crDroid, DirtyUnicorns, LOS, OmniROM and PureNexus, we borrowed a few features and tweaks from.

The Pixel Dust Crew would highly appreciate if you would take a little of your time and leave your valuable feedback, your honest opinion or just say hello. If you should encounter a bug, or some kind of glitch that seems to be abnormal and you are pretty sure that it is related to the ROM (and not related to any special apps or mods you flashed on top), then please give as many details as possible.

Special shoutouts to Roger.T for his amazingly designed wallpapers, logos and the best bootanimation I ever had on a custom rom!!! ;) If you like our work, please consider to buy Roger the first beer, and a few more for the other team members and the developer of PixelDust @spezi77 and a beer for me maybe for maintaining the GSI *wink*. Cheers!
