Hey, is this one like RR or Viper that I need to flash Phh and dirty flash this one, or can I just flash this one right away?
Root with Magisk after installing the system imageIt's already unlocked, without this I couldn't install twrp. As I said, I finally managed to install the OS via TWRP but it's stucked on the lenovo logo.. I flashed the system.img then the Disable_Dm-Verity_ForceEncrypt but it's not working After the lenovo logo I have a red light then it's pushing me to the fastboot menu
In my mobile Lenovo K5 Note 2018 the only GSI that works without problems is AOSP, apart from being updated with the patches.
Octopus seems abandoned, Viper OS bootloop, Pixel Experience Bootloop, Bliss Os when activating the navigation bar remains in continuous restarts
AOSiP bootloop, Havoc in the same abandonment situation.
RR is the other one that works but does not have Gapps included and my model does not have TWRP, so I install everything in Fastboot mode.
you can have success by flashing magisk using boot.img that was patched
magisk will stop bootloop from happening because of dm-verity and encryption problems ....
then inside magisk you must use magicgapps to module to flash gapps systemless ...*maybe this will give you gapps..and besides there are many gsi on github that include gapps ....
you can do one easy thing ..take stock recovery.img ..download recovery port utility from xda ..make recovery for your device ...just use fastboot to "boot" the recovery ..not flash it ..that way you can flash gapps too without messing with stock recovery ...
** for many devices it's needed to factory reset AFTER installing the system image ..especially huawei ...you also need to format data in many cases because of encryption/ decryption issues
which is your device ? because it's easier if i know your device and chipset to help you .WAIT I SEE ..lenovo k5
here is one example this tool is for mtk
or if 64bit follow this guide
here is device with same chipset as you
USE THIS twrp to follow the guide from stupdroid
***also try one simple trick
use the twrp from blackview with same chip
_put the twrp in adb folder
_rename to recovery.img
_in fastboot run cmd
fastboot boot recovery.img
***it's possible on phone the twrp will boot and you can flash any file from sd card without installing the twrp ...MANY times recovery of another phone with same chip can boot on another phone ..
here you have all the tricks you need
How did you managed to install on S5? I tried to flash the image via recovery then flash the Magisk but it didn't work... ?
