Resurrection Remix the ROM has been based on LineageOS, SlimRoms, Omni and original Remix ROM builds, this creates an awesome

Make sure you have a custom recovery installed(TWRP is the preferred recovery)
Download the latest Resurrection Remix Rom & the latest GApps package
Boot into recovery
Perform a FULL factory wipe and wipe/system and dalvik cache as a precaution
Flash ResurrectionRemix Rom
Flash Google Apps package(Optional)
Flash Magisk Root(Optional)
First boot may take up to 10 minutes.

If you have a major bug to report that has not been reported already, please take the following steps to report it to us. It will save you, Team Resurrection Remix and me quite some time.

Download the MatLog app from the Play Store.
After downloading the MatLog app, go to the app settings, and change the log level to Debug.
Clear all previous logs and take the exact steps to produce the error you are receiving. As soon as you receive the error (probably a force close), go straight into MatLog and stop the log recording.
Copy and paste the entire log either to Hastebin or Pastebin
Save the log, and copy and paste the link into the thread with a brief description of the error.​

I don't believe that commit will have any effect on VoLTE but I'll look into it of course.

Edit: yeah, the commit you linked is just to temporarily stop ims.apk from crashing in the background. Fixes a major issue actually, so thanks for this.

Install magisk manager after flashing magisk zip. For some reason the apk isn't getting installed through TWRP

As much as I'd like to take credit, I really can't. I wouldn't be compiling ROMs if it weren't for lineages constant work on ethers trees. They're the ones who should be thanked

I just flashed this ROM coming from Pixel Exp. When you say Broken IMS-VoLTE do you mean their won't be voice calls coming in when the Phone is on LTE network?. This used to be the issue with Pixel Exp, rom then Nurkeind did something to fix it and it was working.

With the latest build it will automatically switch to 3g when you receive or make calls. IMS stack for 8.1 doesn't work on 9.0 at this point in time so it's not included anymore.

Well, yes it does automatically switch to 3G and the phone rings or the call goes out too, however, there is no voice. None of the parties cannot here each other. Anyway then I switched my phone to just use 3G and then calls started working normally. I am on T-Mob US, and anyway the 3G speed is decent too.

On a side note the camera crashes too, so I have installed open cam and that seems to work ok.

Rest the ROM works fine, the device has started showing its age though, little sluggish.
