all pie roms have double tap to wake installed its just not enabled by default please download kernel auditor from play store grant it root access and enable it from that app works for every pie rom

overclocking is currently not working and not possible on pie roms right now but it may be fixed in the future

EXkernel! It is an amazing kernel! I unlocked the n7 qcom chipsed to 1890mhz... Wow it was amazing fast and stable!

Hope in Future we can have a amazing kernel on Pie! Lets be patient! Our dev is doing a grat work on this rom! ??

for those of you who went through the repartitioning process, do you really NEED TO have the nexus 7 connected to a computer, or is there a workaround? Asking because it would be a bit of a pain for me to get to the USB port, having to remove a few car trim pieces in the process.

Or better yet is it possible to connect the tablet to a laptop via a otg cable? As is, I have an OTG-y cable with a usb hub and an extension cable hooked up to it. I am Googling to get answers but not getting too many relevant hits. -> looks like this won't work.

Oh, and in case no one mentioned it already: I had some older version of twrp (3.0.2.0 I think) and initially got an error saying the rom is for flo but my device is E3004. Flashing to the latest recovery sorted that out in a short order.

If I only need picogapps, would RR and pico fit in a 1.1GB system partition? Hoping to use a non-destructive repartition instead:

EDIT: BTDT, it works! I had to reinstall RR after repartioning, but otherwise gapps install went smoothly and booted right into RR on the first try. Now comes the fun part of setting up all the apps and settings. Good times!

excellent ROM , but i have a proplem that i can not connect to hidden wifi even after going to advanced and check the box .
i have tried to unhide my wifi through router config and it connected but when i hide the network, it disconnected again.

Same kernel that lineage 16.0 uses.

I just tested mine and discovered that the included kernel sadly doesn't do simultaneous otg + charging
That being the singlemost important feature I am looking for in any rom, I really need to find some workaround...

I do appreciate how the navbar buttons go to the side instead of the bototm of the screen in landscape mode.

I successfully installed RR7 along with GAPPS pico on my Nexus 2013 (flo). THANK YOU for your work and all your efforts!
It is simply incredible how this good "old" piece of hardware survives into 2019 due to your commitment.
In case this might help someone else: I completely followed the instructions for re-partitioning/installing, but used
TWRP 3.3.0 without any problem!

no, the problem still existed and I am enforced to show my wifi network to make it connected otherwise great rom.

Add your WiFi and turn off the screen for 5sec. Works for me

After the update to 7.0.2 I am no longer able to access my app switcher in any form if there is a way to fix this issue please let me know. Everything else works but this is a problem and should be fixed in the next update. Reply if you can help thanks!

I think found the solution for sns_async_ev_wakelock that prevent the device to go to deepsleep
settings->display->deactivate pocket mode and doppeltap to sleep
