You need to install the ROM with FORMAT DATE !!!
Warning: Fingerprints are not added at the initial setting

Hey guys I am going to flash pie rom for the first time please tell me the proper steps so that i don't brick my device. Am already on dot os oreo latewt build.

1)Download latest TWRP from the TWRP website.
2)Flash it through TWRP image flash.
3)(Assuming that your device is encrypted)
When booting into new TWRP you will be asked to enter a decryption password. Skip that and use the format option under wipe and type 'yes' to format. This will wipe your internal storage so you better make a backup of your internal somewhere. (Before all that make sure that you put the ROM file in your external SD)
3)(Assuming that your device is not encrypted)
Go to wipe -> advanced wipe and select system, data,dalvik,cache,vendor (make sure you see vendor. If not change your TWRP you can search XDA for the same)
4)Go to install select the ROM file swipe to wipe.
5)Install magisk (be sure to use 16.7+ preferably 17.1)
6)Reboot.
(Skipping installation of Gapps (arm 64 for android 9 nano or higher) because I think it is inbuilt in the ROM)

Format data. This will format your internal storage and remove encryption. I already read the OP after 30 mins of publishing.

Please add button customization, device accent colors. Gcam lags or doesn't work in many of ur roms.. Please fix that.. Even the stock camera takes longer to open..

Device accent color is present under Display > Color theme.
Didn't try GCam. Stock camera app open speed is fine

What about Button Customization?? In the previous it was not there.. And if u r using the newest build, can you tell me a bit more about battery backup and charing speed?
