How to update from the previous versions? it's possible without wiping? I don't want to lose my stored data or apps.

I have OrangeFox Recovery and the last AEX before the new one. I downloaded the rom from the official page because my phone poped up a notification about a new update. Then I tried to install it by just flashing over the old one and it pops me that error

No Magisk installed.

Is there a possible way to deal with the LED lights when it's charging. The normal behavior of led lights on mi6 is the led light turns off when the phone is fully charged. This ROM doesn't do it. I've looked up the whole settings and can't find a way to fix it. There's only turning the charging led light on and off. I think it's program to changinf the colors of the led lights when it's fully charged because that is what the "battery led light" setting says. It says that it shows the respective color of lights when it is charging but since mi6 only has one led light color(which is white) it stays lit even when the phone is fully charged. Is there a workaround for this?

The Mi6 also can't change the color of the LED light. Because hardware does not support any other color.

Edit: Now I updated the latest firmware and does not boot

Edit 2: It seems that installation has gone well but then recovery says that there is no OS installed when I want to reboot.

Probably you are not using a SAR recovery as required?

It's possible on a future update, an option to make available quick charge with more than 40°C ? I live in Spain and it's really anoying that limit, when the charger delivers 3000+mAhand then it reach 40 and becomes 1500mAh. I didn;t have this issue with MIUI.

That is definitely not an issue, it is exactly what we want to get. It will help to keep your device last as long as possible and avoid too much heat. I am sorry that I can't release a build without this limit for you, I hope you understand it. If you really want to do it, you can take a look at some custom kernels maybe or try to remove the thermal limits yourself.

Im not talking about make a version only for me, just one option in enchanced menu for disable that limit only 5 C more at the cost of the user. But I understand your point so can I ask you any compatible Kernel to do that ?

Hey, NeoArian. I have installed your AEX ROM after Lineageos 16.0 update has been stopped. I had a low- call-in audio problem when i used Lineageos 16.0, but i have the same problem after installing AEX ROM. Do you have any solution for this?

Has anyone encountered fingerprint sensor issues in recent updates? When the phone is locked, sometimes the sensor simply does not respond to anything. It's enough just to press the power button and light display to wake it up. I did not find any pattern. This may occur a minute after blocking, but may not occur even after a day. Even after a clean reboot.

Is it possible on a future update to make 8G LPDDR4X available?
I upgraded the LPDDR4X from 4G to 8G.
Works on MIUI 8.2.13.0(ncacnec).

But "AospExtended-v6.7-sagit-20190823-1931-OFFICIAL" always hanging on "MIUI LOGO" boot screen.

Re-flash ROM do not work.
Remove DM-verify do not work.

I solved it.

Because I have downgraded android 9(AEX ROM) to android 7(MIUI 8.2.13.0)
Maybe some bug in firmware.
Only flash "Fastboot Type" ROM:

can solve this bug.
Then I can flash any android 9/8 "Recovery Type" ROM by TWRP.

After installing newest update I have a strange behaviour. Each time I wake up phone (either with power button or with fingerprint) strange sound is being played (two tones - first higher, then lower). This also happens when I unlock from lockscreen. So if I wake up phone with power button and then unlock it with either PIN or fingerprint strange sound is being played twice. It is very annoying if you wake your phone up to see notifications on lockscreen and the sound is being played each time. An only way I found to silence it is if I set notification volume to 0. Anyone experience similar behaviour? Any idea what can cause it, how to track it or how to change sounds during wake up/unlock?

EDIT: Looks like this sound is from NFC letting me know that it is enabled. Unfortunately there is no easy way to turn off NFC notification sounds without installing xposed which I don't for now. I guess I'm going to manually turn off and on NFC when needed.
