So far that's the fastest and most stable job ROM I have ever installed, 7700 antutu points! Even better than kk! I'll stick with it till the kk ROMs become more stable and fluid. The only bug is that the keyboard swype typing doesn't work but that's common for all the latest releases

for me, swype works on aosp keyboard, no problems. I have never found a bug in R9, also my touchscreen ist responsive as always

It depends what language are you using. Probably english swyping works fine.

NVM until google doesn't add-on the dictionary for our languages Swipe will not work.

Has somebody of the devs tried the new pmem smi patch from belfish to establish a working cam(pmem driver) on ion Kernel ?

In the htc sensation threads it worked for Cm11

..nah, just kidding Android is open source so as long as you give proper credits, you can build, port, modify, personalize and share without any limitations or explicit permissions.

My touch screen on R9 is less responsive. Anybody is facing that?

My touchscreen was fine, on response and games. But only the AOSP keyboard gesture typing always kept failing. Had to come back to Rel 8 .

Developers - Is it some permission problem, maybe some keyboard permissions? I saw that the auto correction also turned on sometimes after i reset it the first time, when the gesture stopped working .

Is keyboard issue. Google has a new one (kitkat one) and this also has this issue..

Since the first experiments with hybrid memory allocation in September (you can find a post here regarding this side project posted at the start of October), we got the camera working without any change on gralloc side.
That commit could be useful for us for video encoder / decoder (eg. video playback / recording) if you want to use PMEM memory heaps instead of ION memory heaps. However I preferred to work on another possible solution, without the need to use that commit and with everything working (camera, camcorder, video playback, video recording)...

Is it just me, or finding network is much slower than in release 8?

Also, the 2G/3G settings seems strange, the use only 2d selects itself even when I set it for prefered 3G...

It could be surely useful for devices with msm7x30 chipsets (we already prepared the kernel adaptations for ancora, ancora_tmo, apache boards) and probably could be partially considered for more recent devices with next chipsets (msm8026, msm8x55, etc), with proprietary camera libs that still use PMEM.

Flash ROM zip again or unzip my mod and extract original systemui.apk and androidpolicy.jar. Replacing both and zip it.
