90Hz ain't working in Experience Store!!!

Hello everyone,
Being an ex-Oneplus user, I was very much excited about the Oneplus 7T as it was perfectly balanced for my usage.

So I went to Oneplus Experience Store in Seawood Grand Mall, Navi Mumbai to check out the phone.

Already being a fan of the 7 pro's 90hz display, I was dissappointed to see the 7T screen not going beyond 60hz despite being set at 90Hz in the settings. And it was considerably less smooth than the 7 Pro.

I have attached 2 videos.. One is of 7pro and one is of 7.

Just wanted to know is it just an issue in Demo units? Did anyone else notice this?

P.S:- It might be a bug in demo units. Will update if I get any more info.

That's because some people come and they turn on the power savings mode. It's mostly done on purpose by haters. I'm not kidding here, I actually saw people doing this and slowly sneaking away twice at OnePlus store in Bangalore and once in pune.

Infact even yesterday's popup event where I got my 7T from had one of the device on power saving mode. That limits it to 60fps even if it's plugged in and charging even though it's set to 90hz

I bought the device brother. Don't worry the 90hz works fine. Something must have been up with those devices there. I own the 7T.

Okay man. Anyways going to the Experience Store to check it out.

Bare in mind if could be the ROM installed.

Or a number of settings, power options that may be on? Who knows.

I'm almost 100% confident that the 90Hz will be as good as it was on the pro, they would take a huge hit if it isn't, which I'm sure they'd prefer to avoid.

Demo units aren't always the finished product so I'd assume it's that.
