If I'm currently on boc3 tpd flashed by myself, on ee locked phone with oddly an original csc of ITV, do I need to worry about partition size with the modified boc5? Don't really give a damn about csc as long as when ee roll out the wifi calling enabled firmware I can flash that over the top without any problems. Until then want the latest and greatest!

No you shouldn't need to touch the partition. You should always make sure that the repartition option isn't selected in Odin. You should just leave the pre selected options which are auto reboot and f.reset time. Just flash like you have done before.

Cheers. I don't check repartition but people were saying it had failed on certain combinations. Time to flash then!

Galaxy Note 4 on 4.4.4 in the UK, still no official update.

Hi, i live in the UK and i have a Galaxy Note 4, sim free, but using the Three network, my android version is 4.4.4 and my baseband is N910FXXU1ANK4. I am curious if any other person in the UK with a similar set-up has had the official Samsung Lollipop update yet? I have searched high and low and i cant find anything for definite. Or maybe the Lollipop update hasn't hit our shores yet?

I agree with this

I'm on the same config with BTU CSC. I can confirm that no lollipop is available for us on this point. I'm almost sure than UK BTU will skip BOC3 release and jump directly to BOC5.

OK, went ahead and flashed the multi-CSC version of BOC5 that was posted here -just because I was running out of ways to procrastinate. :D

My phone's original CSC was BTU, and remained as such when I flashed the German BOC3 last week.
After dirty-flashing (that's the only way I do it :p) the modified BOC5:
1. Knox still 0x0
2. As with every firmware update, first boot took a while due to the "Android is upgrading" process
3. CSC remained BTU
4. No odd Force Closes so far
5. It seems faster but it could very well be a placebo effect. It's not worse, that I can say with certainty.
6. Connects to my laptop just fine, connects to my Gear just fine, connects to my WiFi AP just fine -as it was before.

So, yeah, if your exams are approaching and desperately need to do something other than study, this will kill a good half hour!
And jokes aside, thanks @_alexndr for the update, works perfectly. :)

.. just around the corner !
A small GIFT (especially for KNOX 0x0 users)

>> N910FXXU1BOC5_N910FOXA1BOC3_alexndr.7z << (ultra packed using 7-Zip)

- PC Odin flashable (*.tar.md5 file)
- pure stock, NOT rooted, the only change is replaced multi CSC pack (putted multi CSC OXA package instead of OJK)
- contains CSC: BTU, CPW, DBT, ITV, KOR, XEF, XEO
- can be flashed on ANY N910F without a pit file
- it will NOT trip KNOX if you still have 0x0 :D

Did a dirty flash from KK 4.4.4. to this one ... no issues so far ! :D
Looks and feels great !!

Came from original CSC code : PHN, now active CSC code is: PHN / DBT.
That's OK for me as I don't want to wait any longer for the PHN update.
Also Knox still 0x0 as expected on my unrooted SM-N910F .

Cheers ..

Just flashed the boc5 rom on my unlocked uk n910f, running smoothly and had no issues so far.

Anyone know how to show lock screen notifications for individual apps?

I can set all to hide sensitive content or all to show but cant find where to pick and choose which apps can show sensitive content and which can't on the lock screen.

Edit found it, have to turn on show all content for the option to come up for individual apps

Well that´s funny. I decided to flash BOC5, from 4.4.4 Kitkat. My CSC - Original, FW and Active was ORX (in Phone info Samsung app). I flashed BOC5 and did factory reset before and afterwards. Now it says original CSC - DBT, FW CSC - DBT, Active CSC - ORX/DBT... I´m attaching screenshots of CSC and Firmware sections. Is it OK??

Yeah that's totally fine. In essence they all say DBT so you'll be fine. The ROM is multi CSC but likely it didn't have ORX so reverted to DBT as the main CSC. Most multi CSC only have a limited number of countries on it. When the next releases come out for your country then you can flash that new one over this. Chill and enjoy! :)

This forum is for N910F Europe Galaxy Note 4 where discussion and updates on firmware can be found.

Visit this first post to get the latest download for official or repacked firmware. Note that Knox WILL NOT be tripped on official or repacked firmware. This post will be updated with new firmware as and when they're available.

I will also try to repack for individual regions for N910F only.

I'm in the process of moving the links to Android File Host but for the time being they're available below from Google Drive. Any submissions for faster download links should be sent to me via direct message so that I can update this post rather than having the links scattered throughout the thread.

THE FOLLOWING LINK IS FOR ROOTING AND XPOSED PURPOSES ONLY - I cannot guarantee that this will not trip Knox:
