With the last update I get 6h.40m screen on, also is lagging like my old htc desire. My sister iPhone 6 is smoother, and my wife note 2 is also smoother then my note 4, I'm not happy with this device.

my mc donalds menu lasts only 2 hours for me. people in africa get a few days out of a bowl of dried fruit! i am totally not happy with my meal.

please at least act as if you had a brain and don't compare totally different use case scenarios against each other.

Did you do a fresh install or install over previous version? Fresh install might help or factory reset. Also read back in this thread about how to improve battery.

It has already been discussed but if you're using your phone a lot, you need to keep in mind that the other two phones you've listed as comparisons don't have a battery hungry quad super amoled HD 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution screen. The screen is very battery hungry and you'll only get 6-8 hours total on screen time. If you use it a lot, as much as a power user, then your battery will drain quicker.

Just have a read back about the experiences people have had and suggestions /explanations people have given.

There's no way you can compare the Note 4 to a 4.7" iPhone 6 with a 750 x 1334 pixel resolution or the 5.5" Note 2 with a 720 x 1280 pixels resolution. Hardly a comparison against the Note 4's 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution.

Does lollipop learn from user's use of the phone and behave differently?

I see battery improvement from day to day... Maybe it manages battery depending on the usage of the phone?

Why is my battery life now better? My 2 friends noticed this also

There's nothing built in to Lollipop that will actively learn what you usage is and then adjust the Rom or kernel accordingly. I would hazard a guess that once all your apps are installed and the phone settles down after a few days, the battery life will increase slightly.

can anyone who has yet to upgrade, do a check on the signal strength before and after you upgrade. i'm more interested in those who use their phones in areas where the signal is weak/poor.

my phone, unbranded EE, went from ~1% time without a signal (kitkat), to around ~7% time without a signal (lollipop) over a day.

i had the same issue with poor time without signal (poor signal area) when upgrading a lg g3 from kk to lollipop.

screen on time / battery life improved with both, though at the expense of signal

I think the signal got worse on lp. I'm on voda and it is definately worse than on kk.
I would downgrade but i can't be arsed with the wipe.

This forum is for N910F Europe Galaxy Note 4 where discussion and updates on firmware can be found.

Visit this first post to get the latest download for official or repacked firmware. Note that Knox WILL NOT be tripped on official or repacked firmware. This post will be updated with new firmware as and when they're available.

I will also try to repack for individual regions for N910F only.

I'm in the process of moving the links to Android File Host but for the time being they're available below from Google Drive. Any submissions for faster download links should be sent to me via direct message so that I can update this post rather than having the links scattered throughout the thread.

THE FOLLOWING LINK IS FOR ROOTING AND XPOSED PURPOSES ONLY - I cannot guarantee that this will not trip Knox:

Original BOD2 firmware can't be successfully flashed by most of users due to large /preload partition (hidden.img.ext4).

So... I have prepared another gift (same ROM properties as in post #1386, quoted above)

Please read previous discussion (especially #1386-1415) before you ask a question ;)
