Stock Google Edition 4.4.2
GSM Version

tiKtaK ROM

Stock port of the m8 Google Edition series

ABOUT:

This is based off of the New 2014 HTC One (m8) Google Edition and is considered experimental.
I originally ported the m7 GPE to the m7vzw and Dna and then did the m8 GPE for m7vzw and the Dna.
I was asked to port my m8 port to the Gsm m7, so I did and here is the result of that.

Superuser and all of your Google apps come preloaded. (no Gapps needed)
I have found the rom to be stable enough, that I felt it was time to share.
This rom will progress and change as Kitkat evolves and when new versions of Google Edition become available.
I hope that you enjoy the tiKtaK experience. :)

Credits/Thanks:
All devs that have contributed to the dlx, m7, m8, and Android in general!

Now it seems that SuperSU and Super User do not want to cooperate and can't install their binaries.

Thanks in advance.
If you used CWM to flash the rom, I suggest trying it with TWRP or vice versa.
It seems some recoveries have issues with that.
I installed it using Twrp on the Dna and PhilZ on the m7vzw and had no issues with the SuperSu included.

So the requirements don't mention s-off being needed. Are you sure? I know all 4.4 Google edition roms for m7 have required s-off.

Just curious if that's confirmed. Maybe something to do with it being a port?

I have been s-off since the day I got mine, everything works without issue when s-off.
I can't say if it is 100% required or not, since I have never tried while s-on.
I know typically if you have an unlocked bootloader, you can flash a custom rom and then fastboot flash the Boot.img.
If there is some special reason that won't work here, then I am unaware of that.
Any time I have put s-off as a requirement, someone always claims otherwise.
So it may or may not work for those who are s-on, but I personally don't know why anyone would be, if they want to flash custom roms.
In the Verizon world, we pretty much have to have s-off to unlock our bootloader. So that was never much of a concern or topic.

I urge those that wonder what differences it has, to try it out and see.
