I believe the delayed texts are a Verizon issue right now, I know a couple people that are having the same issue on stock Verizon phones.

I have 2 Verizon note 2's (sch-i605)with builds 25 and 26. Going to Mexico and get a Telcel SIM. Looked at APN screen but cannot add as plus sign is greyed out. I read that the APN may update automatically with a new sim. Can someone confirm this? If not, how can I add a new APN?

I used a local provider in Iceland last year and didn't need to add anything. Many, many builds ago Beans added a huge list of apns so most SIMs just work. Pick a major provider and you will most likely be fine.

Alright so again just download the ROM flashed it using windows ODIN program and that's all...I am asking because I am running old beans radio and 4.2.2 and have no idea how to flash a radio...I am used to adding roms via SD card and flashing with the TWRP touch setup and bam new rom. That's how I do it on my tablets.

Need some help guys, been running the last update since it has been released with no issues. Today my battery died on the way home. the phone locked up and shut down. Now that i have a fresh battery in will not go past the alliancerom boot screen. I first tried wiping cache, no luck. System wipe and install rom again no luck. What do i do now?>

Wipe data. If that fails, then Install the stock recovery and wipe data again. There's a thread in the general section regarding corrupt data, using stock recovery to do a full wipe. Last resort is to flash MJ9 recovery image and then use casual again to unlock the bootloader (assuming you were unlocked).

I recently went from 4.1.2 to 4.3 alliance rom, so I think I can give you a little advice. Partition on 4.3 was lot complicated than I thought. I had to wipe everything on internal storage as well as formatting external card.
1. Back up your stuffs into PC and make sure you're running latest recovery.
2. Full format your sd card(Make sure nothing there except Alliance rom after formatting).
3. Delete cache partition and dalvik cache.
4. Format the data and media as well as system on the phone storage.
5. Perform factory reset.
6. Install the rom via recovery, reboot, and go into download mode.
7. Download MJ9 firmware from this post, and extract the tar.md5 file using 7zip.

8. Odin flash the tar.md5 file......this will automatically reboot your phone upon finishing.

I think I remember this ROM having an option to turn off the call/text screen that pops up after a phone call. "End Call Delay Timeout Picker" perhaps?

Is it part of the xposed modules, or was it built into the ROM?

You should move on to b29, but the answer is in the op, use odin and check the Q&A thread should be someone there that remembers.

I'm having a weird issue when booting into recovery and trying to do ANYTHING. I keep getting an E:Error opening '/data/data/com.android.browser/shared_prefs. Too many items open files.

And then there are loads of //// marks. Makes me very nervous as I couldn't do a back up, I'm not even certain I can do a restore. Is there something I can do to fix this?

@ufkal did you get any resolution to this? I don't think it is related to this ROM as I'm not and have never run it and just started experiencing this on my i605..

I did get a resolution to this. It was a giant pain in the butt. I had to do a full back to stock. I made sure I as on the original release of the software before they started locking down. Then I had to re-root and go from there.

I have since moved to the HTC One so I don't remember exactly the steps. But I did follow one of the threads on returning to stock (and then re-rooting)

Help with finding 4.4 dialer apk

Hey guys ive looked through some of the forums and tried to find what dialer is included in the alliance rom build 30, I mainly just found a spat between users for pages upon pages. Im looking at getting a caller ui that is 4.4 with the new search function but also has a more business professional background. Does anyone have any possible remedies or suggestions?

I am using this build with MJ9. Does anyone know what steps I need to take to upgrade to Alliance build 30? I tried installing build 30 Alliance rom but keep getting an abort with a an error message number 7.
