I appreciate the thread is old there is an unofficial CM13 build available however I was hoping someone could figure out the issue I am having with the CM12 Temasek version.

Issue: If I boot into recovery I can see my external SD card and I use it to install roms etc. However when the phone reboots and I go into settings it cannot see the SD card. The reason I am posting this here is that I only noticed the issue when I changed to this rom. Any suggestions.

Love this ROM! I think LP based ROMs are better suited to older hardware devices like the i9300 than MM ones. Though that will likely change as MM matures. But for now, this is my fave ROM and is a keeper.
Some notes: v18.0 was problematic. No root after flash and is missing in dev options. Had to install supersu, but still some odd behaviour. Restarted over with 18.6 and all is great. Thanks to the maintainers for job well done!
Btw, what is that star icon in heads up notification?

Hi,

I need to move to other rom thus I thought this one will be great. I did clean install (even cleaned my internal memory) after UltimaMod which was very speedy (until it accumulated junk for over a year) so I decided to try 3.1.5 as I heard so much good things about ArchiDroid rom. Firstly installed with google luncher but did not like the search bar and auto hide of the status bar. Also it became laggy after a day of use. I did a clean install again but with trebuchet only. Again laggy. Apps open slow, the phone thinks about action to long. Web browsing also laggy and it is all fresh install. Not sure whether I messed something or what? I see some people have a problem with the lag.

I tried also ArchiDroid 3.1.5 which also was laggy after clean install but the Temasek one is causing more lag than expected and I am not sure why:/ Any help?

Temasek was a beta version and no longer supported CM12.1, I tried archidroid but it was laggy, the best ROM I can advice you to use is Blisspop ROM V4.0.3 based on 5.1.1, it is far the best stable rom, I have used it for a while and works smoothly a few bugs but not as frequently tho, I am on Blisspop v6.1 based on 6.0.1, but its a bit buggy. Cyanogenmod have CM13 official nightlys, if you are up to to the task of dirty flashing after every 24hrs, but its not yet stable for a daily driver, I consider you Flash Blisspop V4.0.3

Hey guys, i have a big problem with my s3. Im on cm-12.1-20150921-UNOFFICIAL-temasek-i9300-V17.1_ds94 (copied from the saved zip) and yesterday in the evening i wanted to open What's App. Suddenly my s3 was shut down and it always starts over and over again and shows the Samsung S3 Logo. I think you would call this a bootloop? I took out the battery over night and tried again next morning. When I putted in the battery I dind't have to start the phone manually by holding the button: As soon as I putted in the battery, the bootloop returns until know. I tried to get in recovery mode (twrp-2.8.6.1-i9300) but i doesn't work. Download Mode works for a few seconds (the phone shows me the typical warning etc.) but then the bootloop goes on.

Is my s3 dead? Is there any option to save the data?

Thanks guys and sorry for my bad english :D

Greetings

Robert

This is most likely a hardware issue. The power button on the S3 is a big problem, google it. It gets stuck and just holds down the internal "power button" which makes the phone reboot every 20s or so.
Go to a S3 hardware forum for more help mate. :)

    !Unofficial! Temasek ROM Updates

    ok guys
I got the permission by @arter97 to publish my self compiled versions of the latest temasek rom
all credits to temasek, arter97, JustArchi

    Important Notes:
    • these releases have nothing to do with arter97's releases
    • I am not responsible for bricked devices or any other damages. Make a nandroid backup before flashing anything!
    • My builds are OTA ready (since v16.5). This means I will not directly include OTA app into ROM like the official versions, but you can download it from playstore. it will notify you about new versions and direct you to the download through your web browser
    • my builds have slightly decreased file size, because of missing OTA and some missing wallpapers
    • my builds use the block-based flashing method
    • stock kernel has enabled boeffla sound. use boeffla sound app to personalize it. Credits to Lord Boeffla
    • stock kernel compiled with Architoolchain GCC5.2 Credits to JustArchi
    • Rom is compiled with Sabermod 4.9
    • SuperSu is not needed as it is a userdebug build. Simply enable root in developer options!
    • from 16.4 onwards: those with statusbar settings FC have to delete /data/data/com.android.settings using a file manager with root access

Downloads from my AndroidFileHost Subfolder. Always choose the latest release:
    https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=35517

    MY SD Card Isn't Working
    - Format the SD Card in recovery to Ext4 (from FAT) and it should be good to go. Besides, who likes the 3.9GB file limit of FAT anyways :)
    - NTFS formatting also works, but SD card is no longer detectable in recovery.

Help! Miscellaneous is draining my battery!
Miscellaneous itself is not some mystical process that drains battery. It's showing the difference between estimated battery drain and actual battery drain (so more like a summation of all of the miscellaneous processes that drained the battery unexpectedly).

Work In Progress. Will be updated as comments are added.
