There was nothing definitive m8. I kinda tried everything until it eventually reccovered the modems, and the I just flashed as per normal.
Note: yukle.exe as contained in some roms to downgrade from Nougat to MM and then to get the OTA's to recover the roms... anyway yukle.exe is reported by many AV scanners on virustotal as a virus. I did not use this tool, I flashed the earliest stock rom and then waited till all the OTA's had installed, and after that I had everything back.
I have about 40GB of roms and other stuff downloaded till I got this fixed.
