I would say RMA like everyone else, didn't feel like it would help me in the long run, due to the Shield not being durable at all.

I had the same problem, and have seen this 3 other times. My shield was broken brand new, I didn't even know it at the time. The screen it self could move way to much from left to right. all the screws were there. Got my hands on another and found the screen was very sturdy. Then a friend of my ask me to fix his due to this problem, but he said he had dropped his from about a foot. Which is understandable if you drop it.

The left screw was the problem for me. but i did both screws to make it symmetry.

What I did, was took it apart filled both screw holes with super glue and drilled it out, you can now see the screws on the front. Then I tapped it with a 2.5mm treads. and added the screws.

Hopes this helps someone.
I sorta did the same thing in the end. Love the shield, hate the support.
Thanks.

what i did when a screw fell out on my shield, was to replace both screws with the torq bit screws from an xbox 360 controller.
there a slightly longer than the standard screws and slightly wider so they cut there own thread when screwed in.
works great and causes no problems.:good:

This happened to me just the other day. Same screw, right above the left trigger. It seems odd to me, that this is happening so often and its the same screw... And I realize that it's just a little screw, and many of you are just putting it back in there...

But is it really laziness on their part to RMA the whole thing for one screw? Maybe there is something more to this? Some thing's is obviously not right if screws are just falling out. I feel like this is somewhat related to the hardware issues that delayed launch. We're definitely the test group here it seems... Lol

So yeah, I was just playing a game and randomly a screw feel right out of it from above the top left trigger. I don't know how it was in there at all as it seem to have no threads for it to be tightened back in.
What should I do?
`
My shield didn't even come with that screw :p

Screw thread are broken into pieces!

When I tried to put the screw back in it had NO THREADS in the screw hole for any screw to grab on to.
Here's the reason:

The plastic threads mold is in pieces!

The base:

and the pieces:

I managed to glue it back together:

using this:

The other one is already cracked in three places!

This is a MANUFACTURING DEFECT!

Moreover, when I opened it, I saw a loose screw grabbed by a magnet inside!
