I see it happen quite often that people get eager to s-off because of the functions it brings and end up getting stuck on the HTC logo. It happened to me the shortly after rooting my phone. If you have a working backup than you will be just fine. If not you will have to do some digging for certain things.

Basically from what I've gathered is that when you s-off your boot.img will be changed and if you fail to s-off successfully than your boot.img will get messed up which is why it gets stuck on the HTC logo.

What I did was wipe factory reset, wipe cache and dalvic cache then flash the Rom again. Then go to backup/restore and go to advanced restore and only restore the boot.img. after it restores the boot.img reboot and you should be good to go.

THIS ONLY WORKS IF YOU HAVE A WORKING BACKUP WHICH IS WHY DEVS STRESS FOR YOU TO ALWAYS BACKUP BEFORE DOING ANYTHING IT SAVES YOUR HIDE EVERYTIME.

I strongly recommend flashing the stock Rom when doing this because it was built for what's on your phone when you first root. Atleast until you can get past the boot.img and have a fully functional phone. If you have questions ill try my best to answer as I'm not as technical with this stuff like the devs I just have a basic understanding of what works and how it effects things.

These steps are completely redundant

Already juopunutbear has troubleshooting link.. Check the below link
http://unlimited.io/troubleshooting/

There in the link there is Rom/Data recovery section
.. Which gives you lot of simpler methods to get your normal rom back..
To put it simply the controlbear initially backups the boot.img and recovery (boot_backup.img, recovery_backup.img)
Before starting the soff process.. So in case you fail and want to revert back you can simply flash the backups back

And all this can be done by just one command
Check the troubleshoot point #4 in my soff guide ( link in my signature)

When it happened to me I had to figure out a fix for myself because I don't have internet at my home and I rely on my phone for internet and since it was on a boot loop I couldn't turn my phone into a mobile hotspot. This is what I came up with so I wanted to post it here. Thanks for the info c:

Edit: I tried controlbear.exe -f and controlbear.exe -r and they didn't work. I used my mytouch 3g to try and find a fix and when those commands didn't work I used one click root tool to re flash my recovery then from there I flashed my backup.
