A very mysterious message on my phone!

Hello, yesterday I found this message on my phone.

Can anybody tell me what this is and where it comes?

I use an official but rooted firmware (PDA: I9100XWLP7, PHONE: I9100XXLPS, CSC: I9100DBTLP5) Android 4.0.3, CWM...

Only two apps for root installed SAMBA and LUKS.

Have you tried an ad detection app like add on detector. Maybe its an advert of some kind. Unless your name is neil and its somehow showing a text or email message an ad seems most likely suspect.

Does it happen only in dialer?

No, but will test.
Such a behavior is very rare.

Tested now my device with TrustGo Ad Detector:
There are no apps which contain risky ad plugins...

Unless your name is neil and its somehow showing a text or email message an ad seems most likely suspect.

My name is not neil

Does it happen only in dialer?

I think so, never seen such messages outside dialer.
It happened only three times in last months.
I think also with older Firmware, and also after a factory reset.

Do you use any products by the go team by any chance? The message you posted pic of is of a system dialogue style and according to users at http://androidforums.com/android-lo...d-pop-up-not-browser-pop-up-ads-air-push.html at least one go app pushes ads that are not detectable and that pop up in what seem to be system message boxes.

Might be a Go thing if the message is "urgent". Does it appear amongst your text messages?

You guys won't believe me, but I had similar message box some time ago, on SD build. It was gibberish for me(some random talk), but still creepy. I really wonder if this is just operator error or some kind of hidden communication platform.

That is really Creppy, but if you're annoyed by it i would suggest you to reflash your firmware
