Is it possible to fix the non removable animation when unlocking with fingerprint, please?
This animation is too slow to unlock... And is not possible to remove.
Besides that, great rom!

Every time I restart the device the fingerprint data got deleted.. I have to set up fingerprint every time i restart my device..Any solution to that? I am on the latest build..

doesn`t firmware update along with the rom? or I am mistaken with the other rom that has this `feature`

No, the latest firmware has to be flashed before flashing the ROM. But in my case, I'm using the latest 14.0.7.0
And all the options related to fingerprint are not working. I can use fingerprint to unlock, working well... But option to change fingerprint icon, change animation, etc.. all that is not working

It's one amazing ROM but I cant stand that slow ass animation every time I unlock the phone

After flashing 14.0.7.0 european firmware the problem got worse, new fingerprint were not even registering. Then flashed the 14.0.4.0 global firmware, now the fingerprint issue is solved... Thanks ..

Another issue is my always on displays clock brightness becomes dim after few seconds.. In previous version of evolution x rom that AOD clock brightness was always quite bright, did not become dim before... Anyone know any solution???

That happens to me too...
There are some little issues to fix, but I believe in the developer!
Love this ROM and want to keep using it

How much AOD consume for the battery ?

I'm enjoying the ROM a lot since I flashed. Great battery life and really lightweight, fairly customizable. I don't need crazy stuff, don't use AOD. Leica cam is surprising good compared to MIUI stock cam

Clean flashed miui.eu > firmware > Evo

Only "issues" are...

1. QS panel lag after some time. Simple reboot or systemui reset fixes it

2. Screen wake in pocket resulting in random taps, probably due to Poco F3 proximity sensor issue.


Thanks dev for the great work, will be using it for a long time.

Hi Jnsson,
I haven't tried the backup feature as i always used DataBackup.apk to save my backups when switching between roms,
DataBackup can save the DCIM, Download, Music & Picture folders as well as Apps and there Data..

With this GREAT app i can save my backups to my External USB stick using a OTG adaptor.

Databackup can be found in my "one stop" "Temporary Recovery" rom switching folder, included in the folder are the file i use when switching roms,

I hope this helps.

all seems a bit quiet at the moment on the early release group,

i see that Evo-X have released updates for other devices,
i am sure it will be are turn soon,

As you know with Evo-X, it is rock solid with little if any issues,

updates are normally published in a 4 week cycle.

As for Factory reset, as long as you save your data with DataBackup,
this makes switching roms/resetting straight forward .

I doubt it but lets hope, ldac has been broken for a very long time but no fix until now and this is a deal breaker for me.

Evo X is my main custom rom since a13 came out. I tried others but its not it, if you know wh6I mean.

I'll wait for the next update and then will go back to stock and re-flash it again.

Tell Angelos school is more important, custom roms can wait !

Hi Spaha-Bih,
Aggelos is working hard at his exams, there is talk of a member offering server space, but he has to wait for approval before taking up the offer, the early release group is still active, we are all waiting patiently for the next release.

I posted many months ago regarding how polished Evo-X is, i have still not found any rom that comes close, well maybe crDROID,

i tried a couple of different roms yesterday but switched back to Evo-X last night, thank goodness for the DataBackup app.

With most other roms i have tried they have a level of customisation, for instance i am a fan of the "Smart charging" there are few roms that have this function but most don`t work,
i contacted the dev of one of the roms it tried regarding SC and was told "it will never work" but was included in his latest release.

Hard to understand when you have posted screenshot on german.

Try to go to Settings - Apps - See All apps - find your app and then tap on the menu dots on the top right corner and then allow permissions there.
