A20e Root,Kernel, TWRP and custom ROM

Dunno whats wrong with my phone. Download mode is only blue screen and no extra text on the top left corner. When i try to flash TWRP i get red note that VBMETA was blocked by OEM lock. It happens with both Android 10 and 9. Device is A20e. Tried to unlock it with adb. Funny thing is that While android is loaded up adb fastboot tool recognizes device but when in boot or recovery it wont.

Seems that you need to unlock phone first, then you can flash TWRP with Odin. When you flash TWRP, don't let the phone boot to OS. After flashing, keep the keys pressed to enter recovery mode

Hello guys,
After unlocking bootloader and installed official twrp from this link I can not access the files from internal storage. All the folders have stange multiletter names. I have inserted a external sd card and installed through TWRP UltimateQ S21 Port ROM. Now, i can see the storage in twrp(wich is empty, only TWRP folder is present) but, i can not access the storage in android. Can anyone help me, please? Do i need to flash some decripting script or something like that? Thank you.

@physwizz I want to thank you for your awesome kernel and your work for the A20e . your awesome . I really wanted a custom ROM but there weren't any threads on it last year .I came to this thread by chance and bricked my phone like 2 times trying to get twrp to work. But thanks to you it works now. But for some reason I can't get the ultimate Q s21 port ROM , that you shared the link to , to work (probably cause I messed up the steps or did something stupid) . can you please tell me the steps on how to flash that ROM after using Odin to install twrp . detailed steps would be awesome and I also want to flash your kernel .

Does anyone have a fool's guide to rooting this phone. Which files here do I need to simply root. Preferably with Magisk. The bootloader is unlocked already. I did have the phone rooted previously using magisk but since its latest updates I just cant get it to work. Any help is really appreciated.

Yes the kernel gives you extra battery time because of the lower CPU minimums

So I installed the UltimateQ S21 port you gave but it seems like the adb while mtp doesn't work, is there any fix for this? I belive it's from your kernel.
I'm using the app to connect and control display from pc and need to setup a wireless adb connection (firstly through usb)...

I have seen similar tutorials to fix but the main issue they did is saying you need to put it in /data/misc/adb/adb_keys, impling there needs to be an adb_keys folder with the adbkeys.pub in it which was wrong, you need to have adbkeys.pub in /data/misc/adb/ and rename that file to adb_keys

Some kernels don't work with certain custom ROMs.
Just try and see
