I did it and it worked fine on my Samsung A5 A520F (although it's just the first boot image you see for about 4 seconds). Then I thought, hey that logo file in the zip looks east to change! I'll change it to something different. I did that, re-flashed it and now my phone won't boot (will have to do restore Samsung Stock again).
Just a FYI. It works, but don't do what I did.

...If you do what I did or you want to restore the default boot logo again, open Odin again and reflash just the BL partition and it will boot up as normally.
