http://www.flashmyandroid.com/forum/showthread.php?1266-Guide-Change-build-prop-for-game-loft-games

I`ve found a solution for the gameloft games. We have to edit the build.prob and change the following parameters:

ro.product.model
ro.product.brand
ro.product.name
ro.product.device

and erase the words after the equal sign so it looks like this:

Thanks for this, it will be an install option in the next version.
Looking for a few more things to add to it too.

Still need to push performance a bit, I know the screen res is bigger but this is way slower than a nexus 7.

If I have time tomorrow I will look into it, which addons are reasonnable for using it in your rom. But I'll have to say that Nova 3 runs way better than on my Gnex. The overall performance could be better, that's right. I think that a higher Cpu clock will solve it

You can use paragon which works but slower than native rom support for my own experience

Acer actually use the Paragon NTFS kernel driver, I'm working on it. So far tests are good, I just don't have much free time this weekend.

Please do not include it the way I have described. I was impressed that Nova 3 runs alot better on my Acer A700 than on my Nexus. Wild Blood was ... playable, but not as smooth as I want it. I could install Backstab HD, but after the Intro-video the Tablet returns to the homescreen.

Then I have tested Cyanogenmod with all the things left on default and Backstab was playable. I like the battery percentage btw. In my opinion browsing the web was a little bit smoother on CM. But I switched back to your rom, cause of an minor bug that wallpapers only appears on half on the screen, or were stretched so you only could see the half of the wallpaper

Now I`m back on your rom and edited the build.prob just slightly:

ro.product.model=a 700
ro.product.brand=acer
ro.product.name=a700_de
ro.product.device=picasso

Finally I could play Backstab and install wild blood, Nova3, Majesty and all the games that were blocked before cause of compatibility issues. Couldn` t say if they all run fine, cause I have to re-download them :D

For the update to 2.2 I only could imagine a display of the battery percentage like in CM10, a controlable vibration strength(I think it`s kernel related) and as I said a adjustable Cpu clockto 1.6 or 1.7 Ghz like in the Franco kernel for the Gnex. So we could all test our maximum CPU-overclock and adjust the needed Voltages ourselves.

I was just about to post 2.2, I'll re-do it tonight instead
Keyboard vibration can be controlled already, will look into other setting's
Can you post a screen shot of the battery you mean? There are a few on CM10 IRC

I'm having issues flashing 2.2. after flashing 2.2 with CWM 6.0.1.5 my A700 gets stuck in a bootloop. it restarts itself everytime.
I flashed back to 2.1 and everything works fine.

Just saying, I flashed stock RV18RC01_EMEA_GB and then right after iconiaN 2.2, the bootloop issue still exists. so it's not because of my previous installed german rom.
wiping data, cache and dalvik cache didn't help and no matter if I install the latest firmware or not.

I can confirm that 2.2 seems to cause an infinite boot loop.

    iconiaN is a project I am starting to bring a unified stock rom to the A700 that will work on devices from all regions.
    I will soon be making iconiaN a project on github in the next few weeks and will welcome contributions from you all.

    About the rom:
    • Android 4.1.1 (Jelly Bean) - Based on latest available version
    • Multi-Region support - Choose your region while flashing (GB, US, DE, ES & FR)
    • exFAT and NTFS
    • USB Network Device support

    • Fully de-odexed
    • init.d scripts (BusyBox run-parts) support
    • All /system applications updated to latest available

    How to flash:
    • Download ROM and place it on your virtual (internal) SD card
    • Boot your phone into ClockworkMod Recovery (via adb or with a key combo)
    • In main menu, select "install zip from sdcard"
    • Select "choose zip from sdcard" and browse to the location of iconiaN rom
    • After flashing process is complete, reboot the device.
    • Make sure bootloader was not relocked during update if A700 fails to boot

    Added a kernel update to the OP

    This was my final contribution to the A700, I had no option but to sell my A700 to get myself back on the road.
    The cash it raised was a start, but not enough, so I have also now sold my laptop and also my phone.

    It will be a while before I can return to any form of Android development now.

    took it's time, but 2.5 is available :laugh:
