I've been stuck in bootloop (red dot,two white dots) since using the restore script. Even after wiping in recovery I'm still stuck. Please assist.

which one are you using, the 10 one?

the first one I uploaded had a mistake in it. it was only up for a couple hours before I noticed and re-uploaded, but it's possible you got it before I had a chance to fix it.
If possible, please copy the contents of the batch file to Pastebin, and send me so I can see if you have the broken one.

I was using the 10 one . I've had to restore the Metro PCS Android 10 ROM. The Global version failed to work (My phone was originally Metro PCS). Anyway, I've just recovered my phone and installed PE ROM

Went through hell trying to install last night.
Issue with sending through and sideload, when entering location of package, it reads back that zip file could not be read.

Is that an issue with the package or cmd?

This version includes OnePlusCamera instead of GCam, which should work better. The only thing not working is Nightscape mode.

so I used payload dumper to extract images from your latest PE build
an flashed them through Fastbootd
them wiped data from stock recovery
an bam it booted I also patch boot with Magisk without no issues

I won't personally be doing that, but you could build the sources linked in the first post using standard AOSP or LineageOS.
The entire purpose of PixelExperience is to have the experience of a pixel, which means all the included visual styling, apps and tweaks that come with a pixel out of the box.

If you're using windows 11, it hides extensions. So if you changed the name to something easier to type in, you more than likely added another .zip in the filename (I did).

Try adding another .zip to the filename when typing it in lmao

I finally got this rom to work. had to flash the copy partition zip in order to keep from crash dump and boot loops. Must say that I like this rom so far. I have an older pixel 3axl that I use and this seems to be more impressive. will keep using it to test it out. thanks

So I'm finding that the hotspot feature is broken on my phone. When I try to activate it, it just keeps turning off. Any solutions? My Bluetooth works fine with my earplugs but won't work as an alternative for hotspot either.

They, "PE" don't have an official build. The device isn't supported by it's manufacturer anymore as well.

I know OP is not doing version updates but I understood they support the phone with security updates though Oct 2022.

PE (unofficial) works great on this phone! The last update did have some nfc issues but I understand they are being worked on. I'm eagerly (and patiently) awaiting there next unofficial PE update.

you ARE correct about the security I believe but there will be no more Android updates. Sorry I should have been more specific.
