Update: It works now. I had to use the "with GApps" zip file to get it working. Before that, I tried 3 different "without GApps" zip files. So I would recommend jorgen2009 takes a look at the recent "without GApps" releases to see if something is wrong with them.
Followed advice of previous poster and installed rom with gapps. Looks like the no gapps build is bad?
For now I've deleted the latest non-gapps version. The strange thing is that the only difference between the gapps and non-gapps version is the opengapps entry in the manifest and in the device tree to activate the installation, nothing else. All vendor files are the same. To rule out kernel/recovery issues could someone try to flash a non-gapps version, reboot to recovery and install a custom kernel and report back.?
Idk if it's related to the posters above, but I've recently run into similar issues with my own builds of lineage. The builds just hang on the boot animation or they skip it and go right back to TWRP.
To generate the vendor files for my builds, I used the android-prepare-vendor utility applied to the PQ1A.181105.017.A1 (November) factory image. If it's the case that jorgen2009 built his NOGAPPS 11/10 build using the same utility and release, then this would seem to indicate something screwy going on with either 1) google's factory images for this month OR 2) the utility's handling of those factory images. (Additionally, haven't people been reporting wi-fi issues with the November update?)
Anyway, I'm tired so hopefully that makes sense. Mostly just wanna express that it's good to know I haven't been habitually messing something up in the build process.
First, the builds I made are still on the October patches, Lineage hasn't been updated to the November patches yet. Second, I tried those vendor files as well, but they add a lot of extra date to the ROM that's not needed. The builds with 'your' script, as well as the vendor tree from Aquarios all worked fine when I tested them, but for now I use the extract-files script to generate the needed blobs, just to be 100% true to the ROM.
I built a new ROM with some new merges in the OpenGapps scripts, hopefully the build will have a better working Setup Wizard. It's a hassle to get GApps working properly on our device. It's still on the October patches, no need to update vendor files yet
