DUMB QUESTION (yet simple idea)... 
Is there an updated list or page that lists all phones that have been successfully modded/customized or even can at least be rooted?
It would make life so much easier for EVERYONE. Xda is the sole reliable resource for the internet world of on all related android development, so I figure this would be the best site to find it. If it was easier to find, it would make all your hardworking moderator's lives much easier & less frustrating over as many redundant questions of "Can my phone be rooted" & "Is there custom rom's for this model yet".
I personally have been relentlessly trying to simply find out if/which Cricket or even Cricket-compatible* phones, that can be currently often found/findable** for under $200 (preferably under $150), that are able to be at least rooted (but would prefer ability to do more). It's been a very aggravating search. ANY insight would be very much appreciated :fingers-crossed:
NOTE: * "Cricket-compatible"= a.k.a. gsm phones that are technically possible to be unlocked to use on Cricket
** "currently often found/findable"= meaning to include phones that may been originally alot higher $$$ new, however it has been awhile since they were released (theyre old lol), but they still have good enough hardware/technology to perform sufficiently - so if you watch craigslist/classifieds close, you can manage to catch a good deal on a used one
