Ability To Change GPU Type - MXIII S802 Netxeon

I have a Netxeon MXIII S802 1G/8G Android TV box and trying to find a way to change the GPU type to allow for an app that doesn't support output via HDMI to work.

Is there a way for me to make changes so that the app will work?

I know there's ways to change the device brand and type in build.prop... so modifying the GPU type to one from a commonly-used device should be doable.
