I like diving and I like to shoot the mysterious underwater world. Huawei Mate 20 Pro's Underwater Camera function just meets the needs of my underwater photography. This is great for me.
Mate 20 Pro's three physical keys [Volume Up], [Volume Down] and [Power] are shortcuts for underwater shooting. The three physical keys make underwater shooting very convenient!
Volume up button - take a photo
Volume down button - video
Power button - turn off the screen or wake up the camera

Before entering the water, click on the camera - more, select the underwater and enter the underwater camera mode.

After entering the water, click the Volume Down button to start recording. At this time, the Volume Up button becomes the Pause button, and the Volume Down button becomes the Stop button.

If you just want to take some photos of the underwater world, click the Volume Up button to complete.

Power button can be used to wake up the phone or to turn off the screen of the phone. When not shooting, press the Power button to put the phone to sleep and save power. When you need to shoot, press the Power button again to wake up the phone.

With the HUAWEI Mate 20 Pro, underwater shooting is easy, if you like diving and photography, try it.

Note: The Underwater Camera function needs to be used with the dedicated Huawei Mate 20 Pro series waterproof case, so you should purchase a professional waterproof case before preparing for underwater photography.

My phone leaked when submerged less than 2 inches - not good for a phone with a supposed IP68 rating, it's now not charging and stuck in an infinite boot loop. I't's been dried out for days, I've tried the supplied charger and lead, wireless charging, and charging from a USB wall socket.

Slow submerge will be ok, but dont use it to waterslide..
