About root & recovery/boot/root for s-off

NO WAY yet for a ordinary user to get s-off without charge.

PG32IMG_boot_adb_root.zip & PG32IMG_recovery.zip, need rename to PG32IMG.zip and flash with fastboot which already s-off

seems that YUHONG is working with the IS's Rooting tutorial,

and i think the tutorial may take effect ,just by use sofware or storage,without devices which we dont have yet(like a special SIM card or anything else.?).

i mean S-OFF is done by XTC clip, but this update has not been yet released for XTC clip, i just tested it and show that it works!

He just a mobilephone seller, and have Special SIM/XTC Clip. I dont think he have this ability...

s-off can use...

PG32IMG_boot_adb_root.zip, boot.img with adb root;
PG32IMG_recovery.zip, my mod recovery, which "reboot" may not work;
IS_Root_signed.zip, flash it with recovery you can get root.

(Sorry for forget this: This PG32IMG_boot_adb_root.zip mod on "PG32IMG_Vivo_hTC_Asia_WWE_1.38.707.1_Radio_Radio_20.23.30.0802U_38.02.01.11_M_release_172598_signed", if you are not this rom and flash it, you may can not open wifi. to fix, you can flash back you boot.img, or change tihs bcm4329.so in /system/lib/modules)

Hi to the Incredibles
Just coming from a Legend and I must say I love the IS.
Now like all of you I'm waiting for a method to get root.

Sorry for my newbish question, but are there any differences in XTC clips around, anything to watch out for?

I'm playing with the idea of buying one together with a few friends who also got Incredibles and too much money obviously
I'm not entirely sure though, since with such a device it won't be so much fun anymore to follow the guides et.c.
