About the hidden menu

I was able to enable the hidden menu but when I put the code for the volume settings it just disappears and nothing happens. Does the hidden menu access code changed? I have super clean 2.8 I'm trying to boost my volume because it is low

The codes are the same, you just have to have all of the .apk's in the correct folders. There are a few threads about it around here.

Ok I found the apk and enabled the codec but anybody knows what values to put in the music seccion of the settings?

Yes, it is enabled and used through your dialer. If you have the .apk's, or since you're new to this, the Applications needed, in the correct folder, you have a lot of new options to do some tweaking. One of the things you can do is totally turn off your lock screen so that all you have to do is press the Camera/Unlock button and it will go straight to your homescreen. Also, audio codec settings, etc.

Did you know there are several settings for volume in Settings -> Sound Settings -> Volume?

If I turn all the options up in there, my speaker sounds like it's going to explode, so I'm just wondering if you tried that first.

Ah. Thank you. I have gotten to .apk's, haha. But I gotta install this, sounds amazing.

Oh, but that also makes your phone shut off with long press... no recovery menu. :/

You can just shut the phone off then boot INTO recovery, do this by powering on your phone while holding the volume up AND down keys at the same time, hold them until it boots into CWR.

Is not a hearing issue I have, way cheaper phones have better speaker sound, and I know this speakers are capable of more. Before froyo I fixed it with the hidden menu and had awsomw volume, but now those settings are not there anymore

Where did you find the APK? I did searches and couldn't find anything.,
