Abrupt battery drain on Galaxy Note 8 N-950F

Been using the Galaxy Note 8 since it came out,really like the phone with one nagging issue. When the battery reaches 15 percent it either drops to a flat 0 or a mere 5 or borders between 10% and 0%.
I have tried a factory reset and cache wipe and the issue seems to persist.
Is this common or an isolated problem??
Do I need to get my phone checked at the service Center?

I have seen this battery behaviour in many devices, when the batt gets very low, the charge reading is not very reliable, I would worry if the sudden drop happens at, normal levels, for example, 50% then suddenly droping to 30-35%, anyway it is not good to let the batt go below 20% it would be more interesting to know the overall behaviour of the batt along the entire cycle, that is, how long it lasts untill you reach the erratic level you talk about
