Please let me know how you get on with this. I may have to go down this route also but have no idea how to do it.
Ok, so i finally got it working. I used the flash tool. I was able to install 2610pro( not pro+) and The android 11 version from the beginning of the thread to see the differences. So here's what i decided to do

Because of the confusion and all. I decided to write a step by step guide on how to use the flash tool and made a video of the flashing process. I even found an easy way to install the drivers required. I have created a folder that has all the required things you need that i will be sharing. I have even relabelled the Firmwares as Android10 and Android11 so you can know which one you want. What's the difference in the firmwares, it boils down to personal preference.

Android10 (2610pro) Provided by @duvshi
This one has arguably better looking UI options. And some apps seem to be slightly newer as this was released in June compared to March for the Android11
It missed certain features i liked mainly the ability to manually set when the screen deems and turns the bluelight off, and an option to close individual apps from the memory

Android11 Provided by @noiwid
Also has 6 UI options to choose from but they are not as nice as the android10 ones(yes they are different).
It's a more generic version so it doesn't have the Target label.

Overall, everything else works well. Yes even fastboot works flawlessly. I ended up going for the Android11 one. Anyway, here's the link. Let others know if it all worked out for you.

Hi there!

Is this upgrade also usable on my B200? Settings tells me:

Android Version: 10
Hardware Information: B200 - Core 8 - ROM 64GB - LPDDR4 - RAM 4GB - 768x1024
Kernel Version: 4.9.117+ #525 Wed Dec 15 12:19:37 CST 2021
OS Version: BHDG0112-PH7 - 2.1.2 - 20211215 - N4
MCU Version: STM32 - 20220319-11-BD2
CAN Version: H1N4GMF6LA-211224

I currently have problems when the unit reboots where it gets stuck in a bootloop for varying amounts of time until it just suddenly boots and Carplay wireless works barely unless I restart the whole unit (but that causes the bootloop issue so not ideal). I'm hoping that an update will fix these issues but the only update I could find for the B200 are in this thread.

My unit is turned so the resolution is 768x1024 which doesn't seem to be supported in the update

The touch screen sometimes freezes/it seems that the touch coordinates no longer match or the system freezes I don't know which of the two, and then resumes normal operation after many minutes.
I can't configure the "XINBAS" can bus module because they are written in untranslated Chinese.
It fails to connect with my fully functional blutooth ELM OBD2 module with other devices it "doesn't see it".
I've tried to contact Bosion but I'm getting emails with automatic replies that don't address my issues.
Is there any update I can do?
Thanks for any response

I've tried to contact Bosion but I'm getting emails with automatic replies that don't address my issues.
Is there any update I can do?
Thanks for any response
I have no answers for most of these questions, however.

My unit would not connect to my ELM OBD2 at first. I had to go into android settings/bluetooth settings and change the password from 0000 to 1234. I then restarted and then i could connect to OBD2. Hope it all works out for you

Hey.
for the auto hotspot issue, you can go to the phonelink app and disable Carplay as it require hotspot to work,
Xinbas is a difficult CanBus as they stopped their operationts a while ago so the protocols are unknown
you can use my version (2610pro) that have many Xinbas protocols
radio,
you can disable the radio complety buy going to factory settings and then moduls and disable the radio
about the OBD2 you need to go to the android settings and pair it from there

Ciao, Thanks for the tips. In your opinion, buy another canbus module other than xinbas, can improve the situation?
As for "2610pro" is it not dangerous to downgrade Android version from 11 to 10?.
Thanks again

Previously I used AVM Application for 360 Camera. This firmware using the 360 Panoramic Application, the application worked but the back camera sometimes black/blank, and I like better use AVM Application.

@BabayAbay Did you upgrade using flash tool or USB? I noticed when i used USB for the android 11 version, it gave me problems as well. Bluetooth kept on dropping and Android Auto wasn't being picked up at all

I used USB. maybe that's why the problem.

But, I have never been able to successfully connect with my laptop.
Driver MTK was never detected on my laptop. Or maybe I used wrong driver. I am not sure.
That's why I haven't backed up my Firmware previously.

But, thanks for sharing @taona04 (y)

Thank you very much! This worked and i have finally updated my unit. This was a very frustrating task to get done before hand and seemed impossible, however with you guide it was as easy as ABC.

My unit is now working as it should.

Thanks again mate really appreciated!

hell yeah fellas a seller got back to me and sent me the android 12 firmware

just installed it with spflash as usb update didnt work for me

Is there any changes for the better?
I just updated to this and here's what i noticed
    • The UI is exactly identical
    • The WirelessQlink app has been removed, now wireless android auto just works similar to using a cable. It's much faster to start and smoother
    • The transition to night mode in the evening is more seamless and just works better
    • Overall it just seems more like a bug fix update. If the minor bugs bother you from the current firmware, you can update to this. Considering that it takes less than 5mins to do the flash process, for me i think the download was well worth it.

    Hi,
After struggling hard to find how to update my unit (what doesn't seems possible with USB key in my case ; only with a MicroSD card), I finaly did it.
This new system is Android 11 based, and allow to connect to Android Auto wireless, sounds good uh?

My unit is AC8257 based, and has 8 core, 64 GB ROM, 4 GB LPDDR4 RAM @ 1024x600, but the upload also contains 800x600 & 1280x720px, there is .BAT files that make easyier to pick up the good Android_scatter file.

Here is where I come from first :

And here is where I am now :

Below, a picture of the app/system that detect that my phone is close by and ready to pair with Android Auto. I first had to connect it with wire to show him the way. It now seems automatic.

    Thank you very much!!

I want to ask you one more thing.
how do i download and install zlink?
the system i bought has PhoneLink installed.
you cannot install Zlink as they dont have the license for it, you can install it and pay for it if you wish but the phonelink app works well, you can force it ti work by going to settings-general-Carplay
and if you want android auto wireless you can open wireless Qlink
