im looking latest firmware and MCU update for my android head unit

Android version: 10
Hardware Information: AC8257 - 8 Core - ROM 64 GB - LPDDR4 - 4 GB - 1024x600
Kernel Version: 4.9.117+ #38 Thu Apr 29 15:15:04 CST 2021

now my headunit is like this.

Does anyone know where to get the right fw?

I bought a Android head unit and it support 360 camera so I bought a 360 camera set for my device.

The problem is, the device Said that the 360 app is not activated. It says that I have to go to wechat mini app but cant find the right mini app.

The 360 app looks different from the device of a friend of my.

Is there a different rom version with other 360 app or an other solution.

Hi,
After struggling hard to find how to update my unit (what doesn't seems possible with USB key in my case ; only with a MicroSD card), I finaly did it.
This new system is Android 11 based, and allow to connect to Android Auto wireless, sounds good uh?

My unit is AC8257 based, and has 8 core, 64 GB ROM, 4 GB LPDDR4 RAM @ 1024x600, but the upload also contains 800x600 & 1280x720px, there is .BAT files that make easyier to pick up the good Android_scatter file.

Below, a picture of the app/system that detect that my phone is close by and ready to pair with Android Auto. I first had to connect it with wire to show him the way. It now seems automatic.

Thanks for sharing your experience , i had a similar unit with same chipset and MCU, i tried multiple ways to get the firmware update using flash drive or microSD(using adaptor) unfortunately with no success.
firstly i formatted the flash drive (fat32) then extracted the zip file and copy the ATCUPG folder into the flash drive , rebooted many times while trying system upgrade where i got the following :

i also tried to add the the zip file by itself to the root of the flash drive once and add the loose files without the folder into the flash drive which didn't work neither .

finally i tried to add the mcu file to the root of the flash drive which worked and i was able to upgrade the mcu as per the below image.

i am not sure what's wrong and i would appreciate if you guys have similar experience to try to guide me through the process.

we are in the same situation, i saw your post on xda also. I tried flashing a metazone, logo and preloader from some 1024x600 and you can get a better resolution, but still gonna be landscape. Try installing an app from playstore , screen rotation app

I'm attempting to update my head unit but every time I tap on upgrade, it warns me that I will reboot and I hit okay & the system will reboot but nothing ever happens. Am I missing something?
