Hi,
After struggling hard to find how to update my unit (what doesn't seems possible with USB key in my case ; only with a MicroSD card), I finaly did it.
This new system is Android 11 based, and allow to connect to Android Auto wireless, sounds good uh?

My unit is AC8257 based, and has 8 core, 64 GB ROM, 4 GB LPDDR4 RAM @ 1024x600, but the upload also contains 800x600 & 1280x720px, there is .BAT files that make easyier to pick up the good Android_scatter file.

Here is where I come from first :

And here is where I am now :

Below, a picture of the app/system that detect that my phone is close by and ready to pair with Android Auto. I first had to connect it with wire to show him the way. It now seems automatic.

I'm on this first version of Android 11 and still find Google maps to be slower than my px5. Other than that I like the upgrade even if it didn't fix anything that wasn't working for me with the stock android 10 firmware.

I'm running the first android 11 firmware from the beginning of this post and I'm still having a bit of trouble getting things the way I would prefer. Can anybody suggest fixes for the following problems.

1. I would like the hotspot to not automatically turn on after boot up, I have no need for it as I use a portable wifi broadband modem in my car for every device. I've tried setting the option to not connect if no devices connected but I still have to turn the hotspot off to get wifi on.

2. I don't won't the display to automatically dim when I turn on my headlights. I find it a strain to read the screen when brightness isn't on full. I've tried the option in factory settings about the headlight but doesn't seem to do anything.

3. The 3rd party accessibility services for other apps keep getting automatically disabled. I've disabled Duraspeed and I've tried with it enabled but adding exceptions for those apps but they keep getting disabled after a period of time. Often after the screen comes back on.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Is there any changes at all from stock android 10 to the first version of android 11? I am in the same situation here as i come from a px5 also and was under the illusion this was on parr with a px6 model, i was greatly mistaken. Refund is no longer an option for me.

How did you upgraded to this one through USB or flash tool. Did you updated MCU also? Thanks
Used spflash to downgrade using format all + download, which fixed the fastboot issue but I missed having wireless android auto so I decided to upgrade again using spflash and now fastboot and wireless android auto work

My supplier has sent me these update files as a fix for an issue with new head units that are shipped with Android 12. If anyone is considering buying a new unit please be aware that the Android 12 head units appear to have a bug or flaw in the firmware. The touch calibration and programming of the side buttons are not preset and while rebooting the unit in the first 24 hours or so causes no issues when you reboot the unit days later all of these settings stop working and reprogramming them doesn't seem to save it successfully.

The mcu file is dated February 1, 2024.
The B200 firmware file is dated March 11, 2024.

I won't have time to install it until this weekend. I'll report back once I have otherwise if anybody else uses it please let us know.

UPDATE: I got home early enough to install it this afternoon. It's an Android 13 image (API 33 according to aida64). It should fix my issue because I noticed in the touch learning section there are presets saved in this version, like there has been with my other older versions.

Only noticeable difference on first glance is that I think the ACC power off options now has a 30 minute and 1 hour option. I'm pretty sure all previous options I've seen has 2 days as the shortest.

I want to be able to use android auto wireless.
    how can I do it?
Open Wireless Qlink app and Re-pair your phone to the head unit
    2
    Thank you very much!!

I want to ask you one more thing.
how do i download and install zlink?
the system i bought has PhoneLink installed.
you cannot install Zlink as they dont have the license for it, you can install it and pay for it if you wish but the phonelink app works well, you can force it ti work by going to settings-general-Carplay
and if you want android auto wireless you can open wireless Qlink
