The static is there only when the unit tries to play music or any sound, when the amp turns off, no static.
It's clearly a cpu related, as it gets more active when the unit is trying to open an app, or play a video, its less pronounced when just idling.

Sounds like EMI issues (seems common on this HU). Don't know why firmware version would make a difference.

Maybe try wired connection and see if connection drops improve.

I don't have it. I'm fairly certain the ROM is generic and the UI file dictates the resolution. If that file didn't work for you, I won't be of much help. Good luck.

Hello, I have a Multimidia yt5760b AC8259 4gb ram 64gb internal memory.
I managed to solve the touch issues (just put the 5 fingers on the screen and keep turning your hand from one side to the other, then the configuration screen will open, then just follow the steps by clicking on the points), I also solved the issue of images, it was a wire of the harness that was badly fitted.

But now I need help with another situation.
It no longer has the logos and animations, it is also not showing the speed and revolutions count in the multimedia, I believe that due to the update, it ended up deleting everything.
I would need these folders with the files to copy to mine.
As you can see, the colors on the screen are messed up, I've already reversed the colors in the Android settings but it's no use. If you notice in the video when it restarts in the background the colors are correct. But after reboot they are bad again.

Would be good if we had clear directions on this. Searching the thread for recovery seems to suggest need the autoupdate file, firmware file or image, and correct resolution drivers/UI if unit got bricked with wrong resolution UI patch.

There the search of @boolaga effort in this. Sounds like he did firmware file + autoupdate + correct resolution UI (since he bricked with wrong UI resolution install)

Too much black magic for my needs my friend. Ever since I updraded to 1.73.7 my YT7260B has awful washed colors and the MCU is not happy with my steering controls, can't mute, even after clearing controls and relearing many times. MCU test shows different codes for each key so the issue might be the UI.

I wanted to enter recovery to wipe cache and do a full factory reset to see if it gets better

2/9/23 - 11:21 1.73.8 for 2GB is out but FAILED during install.

Download 2x and tried to install 2x. Both failed with screen captures below. After failure, my UI20 background was changed so had to reinstall UI20 along with setting up radio region, DSP etc..

Affer selecting "Reboot System Now" Nothing I did would trigger reboot. I think eventually it did reboot based on timer.

I think they fired the QA team and now are rolling out these newer version without enough testing, I hope YT7260's 1.73.8 fixes my color, mute on reverse and steering wheel control issues rather than adding more issues to the pile.

There is this file which I've not been dare to try.

My failure could be due to using a 64GB USB stick. Windows 11 doesn't provide FAT32 format options for 64GB USB stick so my USB stick was formatted exFAT. Perhaps when the new firmware boots up and try to load more stuff, its looking for FAT/FAT32?

Anyway, I need to use like 3 USB sticks since each can only contain one firmware or apk. Need 1 for firmware, 1 for UI20, 1 for zlink 5. Perhaps just do it one at a time with a single USB stick that works.

Anyway, will try again later and report back.

Replacing Default Launcher WARNING xyauto seems to have removed UI17 and UI20 from their file servers (3/5/2023) Probably because they were bricking too many units in the field. Read more below. Just tested 1.73.8 on 32GB FAT32 USB stick, same failure as post #1330

Reinstalled 1.73.7 (using 64GB exFAT USB stick) + UI20 to return back and avoid any mixed partial update.

So FAILURE for sure. I guess now we wait until xyauto change the time stamp with a fixed upload on their server.

1.73.8 2/11/23 11:04 is out. Comes with an upgrade flowchart. Google translate to English version is attached. Looks like can't downgrade after via USB (just a guess based on translation)

Tried it and FAILED again in the same way. Perhaps 1.73.8 requires a different upgrade process than the past? Return back to 1.73.7 by just reboot and reinstall UI20 so I guess failed install likely didn't corrupt the 1.73.7 OS.

Probably also need to think about license info like zlink. I've saved by zlink activation code but have never had to use it. It would always activate offline first and then online after launching a couple of times with wifi connected.
