Our Chinese QQ interest group has solved the error problem of online brushing the latest official gongban_YT5760B_5750B-zh_ok-ota-v1.73.8, which is caused by the official change of the size of the 34th-39th partition in the rom.
Solution: Download the two partition files uploaded by my Google network disk and unzip the incoming line brush package. The files are divided into 2-4GB and 6-8GB.

Thank you for sharing. Can you tell how to use this patch and what it does?

These downloads include metazone.bin and preloader.bin. Do we unzip ota 1.73.8, insert these bins (metazone.bin will rewrite old one), zip and use to upgrade 1.73.7?

How does these 2 bins fix the problem?

ota 1.73.8 zip file contain preloader_1g.bin, preloader_2g.bin, preloader_4g.bin. I believe correct one must be used depending on HU DDR memory size. My guess (just my guess, it maybe wrong) is HU HW designer forgot to include configuration tell DDR memory size for <= 4GB HU. You include preloader_ac8257_demo_1g_32.bin, does this automatically detect 1/2/4GB?

Does QQ interest group know why 1.73.8 run faster than 1.73.7?

Only change seems to be partition table. userdata partition starting address shifted left by 5 bits in 1.73.8 compared to 1.73.7 (0xe0000000 instead of 0xdc800000) This create larger block address alignment. I wonder if this gain flash memory performance?

Best read speed from flash memory usually require advanced engineering work. There are may layers of software above the NAND flash memory blocks including OS file system (page, block size, write back policy), eMMC (has its own OS to manage NAND flash blocks, wear leveling and any logical features such as multiple partitions, security etc) If xyauto engineer spend time in this area, I'm sure performance boost is possible.

I posted few key chip spec on the mother board 1 year ago. Datasheet for the Foresee eMMC flash is available. You can see it offers multiple paritions, special security partitions etc.

Hi guys, I have an annoying problem with the system. I'm listening to podcasts from the USB trough the music player. When I'm switching between the music player to the Bluetooth player or when I power off the system the podcast reset him self and he start from the beginning. I tried to use with multiple music players with no luck. Please let me know if you have any idea how I can save the spot. I attach to the comment example video, I hope that it will help you to understand the problem.

Anybody here with a YT7620B with 360 app that does not have the app listed in the Factory settings > App Settings > Audio Mutex Apps?

So because of this I cannot have music on from zlink (spotify) while driving in reverse with camera on...
Version 1.73.7 is the worst version ever, steering controls are f***ed up and now it will kill audio when put in reverse.

Sounds like localmusic player doesn't have any kind of memory/resume feature of the last track across audio and car power off interruptions. Usually stock apps on these lower end HUs are feature poor.

Might search Android audio players for a solution. googled "android music player remember playback position" and found this

On Chinese version firmware, I guess maybe difficult for non Chinese users. Language problem is expected. Common internet services (google etc) probably have differences as you said.

I also installed 1.73.8 ota using TWRP (of course more difficult process than your modified 1.73.8 ota) Result also use 1.73.7 partition table. I guess result is exactly same as non Chinese 2/23/23 1.73.7 ota? So I suggest to xda members to just use 2/23/23 1.73.7 ota.

Do you know why 1.73.8 with new partition table is faster (everyone (including me) tested by PC flashing firmware say faster) than 1.73.7 partition table? I guess maybe eMMC access improvement by block alignment? (My guess summary in post #1423)

The change of scatter file means that xyauto tries to create a boundary. It is difficult for most users to cross this line, even if the old partition file could used to install the new firmware through the SD card temporarily. But what about 1.74, 1.75 , 1.8 , 2.0 in the future?

The reason for setting a boundary may be to prevent unofficial modifications. And it is more likely that xyauto is aiming at new and higher performance hardware. It seems that they have made a decision to abandon the old users, from 1.73.8.

Another point is to pay more attention to the 64bit (6G, 8G) firmware. In the past, the release of 64bit version lagged behind the 32bit (2G, 4G) in xyauto website. Now, the 64bit version is ahead of the 32bit version. With the improvement of hardware performance, it will become the mainstream.
