Ah id7 launcher gave different look than xyauto HU launchers so I didn't recognize. id7 looks nice
Looks like id7 allows you to choose an app to display in a portion of the screen so you put DVR on upper right? This is a desirable feature since people like to choose own app to show on part of the screen (map, music player, dvr etc.)Sounds like what you want is making DVR display area bigger. When using id7 launcher, this is controlled by id7 so unless they provide a way to resize. id7 solution doesn't work.
On split window, don't know why it doesn't work after update. There are many releases of 1.73.7, which one (file date) did you use?
Finally xyauto's UI17/UI20 also allow a portion of the screen to display by app ( see my post #1816 ) But not sure its much bigger than what id7 gives you. Read NOTE 5 NOTE 6 below. Do note the past history of UI20 (and UI17?) bricking wrong resolution HUs. Seems fixed according to xyauto directory name and also seem to depend on > certain date of 1.73.7. Just beware.

AC8257 AC8259 These are main chip models on the HU. These are lower end HU chips and several different hardware use them. There are also multiple firmware makers that develop for these chip. This website is mainly for the YT5760B hardware that uses these chips and firmware made by xyauto. New
I did something and now i don't get them, neither the settings button on rear view.
I don't know what is difference between 3 split screen and normal package. Maybe its related to UI17/UI20?
But I think UI17/UI20 will install on normal package as well Inot sure) so don't know what is the difference.
Thanks, perhaps it is better to install UI17/20 on 3 split screen package.
There is a problem of UI17/20 with normal package when 360 camera system installed, i.e, When reversing, the rear view screen of the 360 system occasionally does not display.
I will try to install the 3 split screen package next time, to observe if the problem still exists.

I ve installed wrong OTA and i had to recover display driver. Now my screen is upside down. How to recover?
Hi, inside of 1.73.7 folder there is new folder which name is 1.73.7(after sales service) whats different in this folder, anyone knows?
These are just the latest version of 1.73.7 (determined by posting date) I believe xyauto released these quickly after first release of 1.73.8 (can't ota upgrade from 1.73.7 due to different partition layout).
We recently received newer version of 1.73.8 and xyauto didn't yet post any newer 1.73.7 so maybe they've stopped supporting 1.73.7...
But in general, it seems all the upgrades from the last year doesn't change so much. Maybe most changes are
- CANBUS support
- 1.73.8 partition layout (faster)
- including zlink5
Seems like some strange problems occur after some of these recoveries (or full format and flash) Sometimes fixed by itself after few reboots...
according to this image bottom line, if we can't upgrade 1.73.7 to 1.73.8 due to different partition issues, do we need to upgrade 1.73.7 OTA (after sale service) version first only after that we can upgrade 1.73.8 using usb drive method?

1.73.7 and 1.73.8 can not OTA upgrade (you called usb drive method) to each other. 1.73.7 -> 1.73.8 requires much more complex PC flash method.

Maybe try other display drivers to see if can recover. If not, then have to do the format all + repatch IMEI directions you linked

I tried to make 1.73.8 install guide as clear as possible. But its significantly more complex than ota upgarde process. If you haven't already, review the PDF overview of the upgrade process.
If the confusion is from this added complexity, then probably should avoid as it can brick the HU.

Your posted images shows 2 wrong steps
1. Need to download computer package (and ota for the correct preloader file)
2. flash_tool screen above shows no firmware is setup since you didn't download computer package file.
The overview docs explain which files to use for 1.73.8
Skip installing TWRP recovery + backup. Its more complexity beyond flashing firmware and unnecessary.

- pg4 shows have to use computer package and not ota to flash firmware with PC
- post #1399 flash_tool screen and video shows flash_tool setup with all the files from the computer package. Besides computer package, need to find the correct preloader (from ota zip file) and missing files (maybe metazone.+logo) and where to find them (I archived a set for 2-4G HUs) Its all explained in the guide.

Need to review these info multiple times to understand all the details. All the info is in there. Unfortunately no shortcuts as its a complex process with many details (where to get missing files, remove Chinese characters etc..). Read and understand about IMEI repatch if you use 4G cellular.

Second, is the twrp flash, no?
Can you prepare me the necessary files to upgrade from 1.73.7 to 1.73.8 on an 8GB-128Gb rom unit? With all the steps?

if you have 1.73.8 running, you can use spflashtool to flash the boot.img( it's patched with magisk, so it's rooted). Then install magisk.apk in android, run it, it will nag for a reboot, so reboot. Then install the v4a.apk (viper4android apk). Then start up magisk and install the v4a.zip(viper4android magisk module) as a module. Then reboot, then run viper4android app and turn legace mode on. Then setup viper4android.
As extra( for me i don't know if it sounded better, maybe yes, but it had less base) you can flash another viper4android module zip file in magisk. Choose either module for the sound as you like.

root it with this. First install twrp, then rename magisk.apk to magisk.zip, put it on a usb stick and flash it with twrp. To get into twrp, download terminal emulator and type "reboot recovery" in the emulator.11
then you have the wrong firmware installed, it should be landscape. -
4i did it !!! i did it !!! my radio works!! to much people with this problem and i found the solution trying bored files from xygala, i was bored, i downloaded all the files in that drive 1 by 1.. seems it’s a driver for lg screens, i will edit this to make a tutorial, but i need help to do it, my english is not so good3Late Feb release of an xyauto UI is pretty good. Has maps (I use with google maps app with offline maps), radio, HU music player, a fixed app launch icon pane (left vertical) and a user changeable app launch icon pane (lower bottom) all on one screen.
Generally quite nice. google maps has voice input search, auto dark mode at night while navigating (none navigation mode unfortunately stays in day mode) map will be always north up while driving without navigation route.
patch file link Note this seems to be for 1024x600 screen only. Didn't see it in other resolution folders.
Mode switching is a bit mysterious (I have a steering wheel button programmed to switch modes). In the old default UI, mode switch with switch between currently running apps. Seems to do nothing on this UI while being displayed.
This launcher provide everything I use so no need to fiddle with the HU much. Just power on the car and drive. The useful features are
- FM radio (wife listens to this and its her car)
- Maps always displayed and track your position smoothly (Seen other launchers with map. Position only update every second or so, very jerky display). Google maps fixed to north up unless navigating. Voice input destination via mic icon on google maps search bar. Maps always in bright color mode (quite bright at night but area is not entire screen) Navigation will auto change to dark mode at night.
- BT works if setup to auto pair. Incoming calls pops up on screen. Can voice command out going calls with iPhone easily. Just say "siri call xxx" with iPhone mic able to hear you. iPhone looks up your contact and dials while connecting to HU's BT for speaker/mic sound.
- Music player will play all music files in the system/USB stick.
- Color choices are nice. Colorful but background is dim for night time use. Only issue is google maps none navigation mode display stays bright. Other nav software might handle this better.
- Google maps generally likes portrait displays like a phone. This horizontal smaller window sometimes hide the next driving intersection change behind the green direction box on top. Not too big of a problem.
- Left column icons are not changeable. Bottom row is user changeable.3I have recorder a video with the YT5760B system upgrade. It takes about 5 minutes to complete. In the attached ZIP file you can find the video.3
I managed to extract all the apks from 1.73.7.
Strangely. I couldn't find zlink.apk.
There is ZlinkActivationCode.apk, which is the only apk related to zlink.

Update!
Finally found the zlink apk. it was inside the vendor.new.dat.br.
I have uploaded zlink apk here, just in case someone needs it.
I believe this is the zlink ver 3.9.27 comes from the 1.73.7 firmware.
I haven't got chance to test it on my HU (now is midnight here in Australia), will do it tomorrow.3
Just installed 1.73.6 on 5760B 1024*600, didn't wipe user data.
Actually, I forgot and left 1.73.3 (don't recall if it was 5/24 or 7/25 version) on the USB stick w/1.73.6 and 1.73.3 got installed which wiped my user data. But then I installed 1.73.6 over this without wiping user data.
Biggest change I notice is just the 2x boot up pop sound is gone. So maybe xyauto have more orderly sound hardware initialization now
