Instead of having one new notification every 8 sec, it is possible to have only one notification with vibrations every 8 sec?
Having one notification every 8 sec means that I have only 8 sec to touch the icon on the watch and disable the notification.

I think it has to be like that to make it vibrate (i.e. it will only vibrate when a notification is received.) If you dont want them stacking up, under app settings in the smartwatch app (on your phone) disable 'show in new events' then if you click on the actual app icon on the smartwatch you dont have to try and catch the notification! Hope that makes sense!!

Ok, I have understood.

Another idea for a app that could be very usefull is to have a clock, a very little persistent clock with dimmer to save the battery.
The clock should be moving every one minute in order to not damage the screen.
The clock should be like the original clock always displayed but very tiny.
I have tried custom watch for smartwatch in the playstore but this app drains the phone battery very quicly.

I'm using it with an HTC Desire Z. It works quite well but sometimes, more or less 50% of times, when I go far from phone, it's difficult to automatic reconnnect and I have to turn off and turn on the bluetooth on phone. Any advice for better connections?

i had same issue with my sensation until i got the latest liveware update from the market.
do you have all the latest updates to liveware and smartwatch? check for both.
it works perfect since last liveware update last week.

instead of rebooting phone, try powering off the watch when your back in the blutooth zone, then power back on, it connects faster that way then trying to auto connect.

i also noticed that when u are out of the range, for a certain period of time i noticed this scenario:

out of range just a shirt time like 1 to 2 minutes:
Auto reconnect works perfect.

out of range for 2 or more minutes..:
auto reconnect does not work and i have to reboot the watch.

i was thinking about creating some sort of bluetooth bridge in my home with the cheap computer dongles and computer downstairs, and computer upstairs. this way the house will be saturated with the one bluetooth signal.. but not sure if i can figure out how to do that..

the signal distance with the watch is pathetic. its only like 10 feet, if there is a wall in between then forget it. signal is lost.
BUT, this could be the fault of our phones not having a powerful transmission as well...

when im at home i want to be able to go from room to room with my watch and leave the phone on its charger, but i lose signal when i do that.

Thanks, I have already the last updates. I noticed the same scenario you described: if I stay away from phone for 1/2 minutes no problem, if I stay away longer I get connection problems... Another thing I noticed is that if I try to operate on it (not only read the time, but swipe towards apps) while it's disconnected it starts to try to reconnect and goes in a kind of "connecting loop" and I have to turn off it.
Probably it's an issue with HTC phones

Hi all,

Vibrate Alarm App is at Google Play. Now it is improved and without errors. Beta version will work until get 100 events, then will not work anymore.

Here is the description:

Description

This app will launch a vibrate alarm at a specific time.

It will send a notification every 10 secs (you can change this value) until a max of 20 times. To stop it you must read the notification and press Stop Alarm.

When the alarm is set you will see a clock in notification bar.

Do NOT trust on this app only, use another alarm too. Quit sound and mobile data in your mobile at night to avoid others notifications.

LiveWare™ extension for SmartWatch

It is not free, :crying:. I hope you like it :)

Is it possible to set the alarm on the watch, or does this have to be done on the phone?

Only in the phone. This kind of settings are done always this way.
Looks good!

But still, shouldn't it be possible to set the alarm on the watch itself? It's possible to control the music player with the watch, shoudn't be impossible to implement a "clock control" to the watch?

I'm no programmer, so I dont know whats possible and not, just thinking :)

Just picked up a Sony Smartwatch and have been using with my rooted & overclocked Moto Droid X, working great and loving it.

Question is: Would like to set the watch up on 2 phones; want to use it with my work phone (AT&T LG Nitro HD) during the day and my personal phone other times, any issues with setting it up on 2 phones?

Also, any email notification apps that will work with exchange 2010?

thanks,...

Its fine on two phones but you will have to unpair and repair it each time you want to switch.

thanks.

watch works much better with my droid x, with the lg nitro it disconnects and connects randomly (thought it would work better with the lg due to bluetooth 3.0, dual core, etc...)

only real issue i have is: with either phone do i get an answer option with call handling, only ignore. any work around for this?

Not sure on that. I've only used it on Xperia Phones from Sony.
