accelerometer always on SGS2

I have an issue with the accelerometer always being on even when the phone is untouched on a flat surface.

How can I fix this?

I think your accelerometer is broken. Get it fixed or go to play store and download an app which let's you manually rotate your screen if your accelerometer is broken.

Really?? How do you fix an accelerometer?

Its acually not rotate thing bugging me, that works just fine from what i can see. Its the GPS that is the problem. It thinks that i am always moving and over time and distance, a 25mile walk for example, the data is wrong.
