Accidentally deleted OS :)

I've been trying to factory reset my M8 but it kept not getting rid of the internal storage, so I decided to do it in TWRM and did the thing with the Wipe, and checked all the boxes and so now I've deleted the OS... SO, I understand that I need to flash a custom ROM now, right? I think I'll go with Cyanogenmod but what would you guys suggest?

BTW, flashing a custom ROM will solve this right?

Do you have a M8 or the M8s ?

If you have the M8s: CM12.1 is the only CM available at the moment for the M8s.

Community devs are currently working on CM13 (Marshmallow) and CM14.1 (Nougat) for the M8s!


And yes, flashing a custom ROM / Stock rom will replace your empty 'OS'

You never update your device ? That's a very old version you have .. 1.45.401.12 I believe.

If you know how to work with a RUU .. you can try

I have downloaded the file & transfer it to SD card & try to flash it but it shows "No file or wrong image", is there any possibility to find the right image file?
