I'm trying out this Rom, looks great so far. I'm just wondering what the home button lag hack is ? I bind home button to open my app drawer in nova launcher but now it won't work in this Rom :-( .

Hey guys,
What's the downside to running the overclock ROM?
Does it use up more battery worse for the CPU?
Was thinking of trying it out but I am more of a normal user and would rather maximize the battery life.
Thanks for any suggestions.

So has it been confirmed that having the kernel overclocked is what was killing the battery?

I flashed the OC version and noticed a few things. First off, I didn't have any data access. Also, I couldn't update prl or profile. This is off a clean flash.

Why so few posts compared to Blazer rom,im coming from Epic and Epic Touch and ACS was the best,is it in alpha/beta stages or something?
Im trying to decide which to use as daily driver both ACS and Blazer are great but ACS from what i can rember is more clean/minimal.

When I flashed to this rom my battery was being chugged away. I had to go back to stock rooted where it rather sipped the battery. I will add it did this while i was in airplane mode. Which is rather strange considering there are no radios on. Any suggestions.

Same boat as you.... PHANTOMS ROM was one of the first available therefore the more posts. I'm still using it but watching this one closely because of my ACS crush I had in my epic days

Yes I too am an ACS fanboy from the OG Epic days...Syndicate Frozen ROM was my baby. It brought me an my phone so close.

Then Jez2cool created the Syndicated Ice ROM for the E4GT and that love for my phone continued. its just a matter of time before this ROM is finely tuned.

Thanks for this! anyone know how to get the stock Music app back? (I kinda liked it)

I tried to back it up via TitaniumBackup and restore it, no luck.
Download a ROM that has the application.
Extract the APK from that ROM and move it to your System\app folder and set permissions.

Sorry, this quote above was by mistake..

Im having some serious issues with the battery drain too guys. My phone isnt charging faster than its draining and its about to shut off soon. Normal use, I had phone set up to be as minimal as possible, but still jsut draining away. It went from 9 till now.. about 6 o'clock, Im at 11% now. On stock I would be at about 65% ~ 70% at this time. What shall I do?

sorry about the slow speeds guys, i pay for hosting and when i signed up i chose the middle of the line package. they dont offer great speeds but i have unl bandwidth and unl space, as such i offer a lot of devs space on my service for them to host. on my old domain (holyliving****.com) i could expect about 2 TB of data being moved in any given month.
Not complaining, just offering help. Don't have a lot of money to give so I was offering what I had. I thought it might have been a load issue.

My poor battery...

Love the speed and stability of this ROM but the battery drain is way to much. I feel like i'm back on my Epic barely making it through my work day. I was off the charger for 7 hours and got down to 22% with light/medium usage, on stock i'd still be in the 70% range. Like i said i love the roms speed and stability but i need my battery life back. Will keep an eye out for the next update...

NOTE: using the NO OC ROM build.

Same boat. once battery drain is close to stock, I'll be back.
