ActiveSync question

I was wondering if HTC's implementation of Exchange ActiveSync is any different from ActiveSync on phones with plain old, unskinned Android.

I ask this because when we had a Moto Droid to test at work a few months ago, I was able to setup ActiveSync without issue. On my Aria, however, using the same settings just doesn't work. I've verified the settings from a previous document I had created, and I'm fairly certain no changes have been made on the mail server side of the equation.

Any thoughts on the matter?

Thanks,
Jim

I can't speak from the Moto Droid side, but I came from 3 different Windows Mobile phones (HTC Tilt, BJII and Samsung Jack) and setting up Exchange ActiveSync on my HTC Aria was just as easy and painless is it was in Windows Mobile.

What kind of issue are you having with the Aria?

Regards,

Tom

Here's the error:

Error

And yes, I've verified the info entered is correct.

I tried Touchdown and it works, but I do not like the interface.
