Hi!

I was messing with my tablet, trying different ROMs, and the few that work are GSIs.

I tried two (latest versions of Evolution and Pixel Experience) and they worked fine, but I couldn't do anything that needed ADB because it wouldn't recognize the device.

I tried the most common solutions (kill restart ADB, change from PTP to MTP, restart devices etc) but nothing worked.

I found this solution, but I don't know if it still works, and I don't know which android_winusb.inf I should use (there are at least 3). I also couldn't find [path]\.android\adb_usb.ini.

Any ideas how to proceed?

Thanks in advance! :)

add line to build.prop

ro.odm.lenovo.series=Lenovo Tab P11 Plus
Thank you for the reply!

The problem is I can't root the tablet (or don't know how, without ADB or TWRP).

Do you think it would work if I patch the boot.img file with Magisk, repack it to the XZ file and flash the image from the stock ROM again? At least I would have the tablet rooted and could change the build. prop, as you suggested.

The easiest way will be to patch the boot.img with magisk and flash only the patched boot.img with the SP Flash Tool
You will need the auth_sv5.auth and MTK_AllInOne_DA_p11.bin files, which are easy to get.
